To sum it up easy: Cold water in shower, dirty room (especially bathroom), bad service, no wifi, hot tub outside was empty (no water at all), bad breakfast with only one bread. We were only 7 guest on the hotel. Guess why?? Well, we noticed why!

Spending your vacation in Hotell Hadeland you will get an overdose of green grass/leaves and beautiful blue sky (if you're lucky with the weather, of course). It's located in the middle of beatiful hills, with a nice view of surrounding villages and is neighbouring modest Sister Churches with the local cemetery. Absolute peace and relaxation. The rooms and bathrooms are... More

It was the month of December. The temperature was nose diving by the day in the Europe, especially in Norway, that too at Hadeland. All the land, trees, electric poles, buildings, and every thing is taken over by snow and ice. Watching, such massive power of ice, from warm indoors with a hot coffee to boot is a luxury. Yes,... I stayed there for 4 days and it was an excellent stay. We had a training workshop with a hectic work schedule but enjoyed a lot in its peaceful environment. The food was outstanding, staff was cooperative and extremely polite. Rooms well equipped with all the necessities. Overall hotel is highly recommended.

I was attending a course at the hotel for four days, and it gives visitors a very good experience of what is Norwegian. A bit remotely located into the mountainous area, surrounded by a scenic wintery snowy view, with great traditional food (excellent lunch buffet!) and very service minded and friendly staff. The rooms are quite cold, so remember to... More

I was booked to this hotel by a third party and stayed two nights in January. Food is provided by a buffet style service, with excellent quality cold food, the hot food suffered having being under heat lamps to keep it warm. My biggest negative is that the bar is a part of the reception area and so lacking atmosphere... More

Hadeland is perched on a hilltop near to the town of Gran (but not in it, you will need to walk or take a taxi down the hill). The food is excellent and I mean really excellent. Rooms are fine, with wifi, but the TV choice is limited to Norwegian TV with only one English channel for foreign visitors (no... More
