Situated in quite a reasonable position. Rooms quite small and basic although clean, ensuite consisted of shower, loo and wash basin Twin beds very small and uncomfortable, glad we were only stopping for one night and moving to a premiere inn for the next 3 nights. Had dinner in the pub which was situated in the grounds, food poor and... More

We stayed one night whilst attending the Darts at Lakeside. Upon arrival we found a very large car park and registered in the large restaurant/bar on site. The room, number 110, was easily located on the first floor of the lodge block, just across the car park from the bar. The room was light, airy and spacious. Facilities included a... More

The Potters Inn website promised: "17 stunning double and twin ensuite rooms", and showed attractive photos of a canalside location. We booked into a "deluxe double", for which we were charged £60 per night. We were in a room in a separate block away from the main canalside building and therefore had car park views. Please don't be taken in... More

Best is to break up the different sectors. The rooms are basic and best suited 've those who can sleep anywhere and with any noise and the bonus of light flooding into you room if you can cope with all that then this is for you. The restaurant is good with fair prices and good value for money. The breakfast... More

We arrived in a camper and trailer and parked at the canal centre over the road and was waiting for 6 others so wandered over to Potters across the road . It had a HUGE empty car park . We were greeted by a huge room and football on and my 10 year old sat down to watch and it... More

This is basically a stinky old tired pub with tired rooms and a complete step back in time feel. The food is average and very overpriced for what it is, the beer is poorly kept, the clientelle is a mixture of local regular drinkers and people using the campsite nearby the canal. The place itself smells mouldy and unkept. fairly... More

We stayed hear for two nights in August. When we were given the key, we were told that we were in the rooms above the pub. The first thing that sprung to mind was the possibility of noise. As so happened, this was not the case. We never heard a peep from anyone else once we were in our room.... More

I've only ever eaten here on business but I would absolutely recommend this to friends and family. The portions are generous and the breakfast good quality too. The staff are helpful with prompt service and the prices are reasonable for what you get. Having visited on numerous occasions, the good experience is replicated every time which is why I recommended... More
