Our stay here was minimal. Checked in late at 7-8pm and left early the next morning at 8am. Unlike other inns around the area, there is no shops around here. It was raining when we arrived so we just stayed in our room for cup noodles. Room is ok with connection to Wifi. Bathroom is cold as the heater can't... More

My friend and I spent a rainy night camping in of those Jucy's. It was pretty muddy due to the rains so we didn't explore much. But it was great waking next to the river and the staff was helpful. Not a camper so can't really compare to other places-but the camp store seemed reasonably priced and the toilets and... More

Family friendly place, in the midst of nature. Rv was stationed next to the river where we tubed, swam, played at the basketball court and make our campfire. Very friendly staff and it's a magical beautiful place. It is really quiet and our kids (9,8 and 3) loved it. Would return immediately.

Had a peaceful two nights at a tent campground here. Quietest morning at a campground I have had ever - respectful neighbors all around. Restroom including shower was very clean, water was close to our site, and fire pit grille was in good condition. Had some deer and raccoons around the second night, so just need to be careful to... My experience in staying in cabins is minimal but I was very happy about our stay at Riverside! The campground is set in the middle of the redwoods that are just gorgeous in the morning light. All cabins and structures I saw were well maintained. You can tell that the management takes pride in this place. The staff was super... More

We camped here for one night while travelling up the PCH. At first I was unsure whether to stop in big sur for a night but am very glad I did. We stayed in cabin 9 which was small but the bed was very comfortable, prob one of the best nights sleep I had during the trip! It was right... More

Stayed 1 night while driving up the coast through Big Sur...I wish we could have stayed for several nights! Stayed in Cabin #6, which had two queen sized beds and was located downstairs. The beds were very comfortable, outfitted with warm, cozy bedding. The fire pit right and picnic table outside the door was great...the ambiance of the campground is... More

We upgraded to a cabin which was perfect for the two of us and two dogs. We still had the camping experience but without the hassle of setting up a tent and sleeping on the ground. The campground was clean, the hosts were helpful, and it was all dog-friendly. It would also be great with kids.

It was May, I was looking to book a campsite for August somewhere in Big Sur. Apparently, if you want to book a State Parks campsite you have to book months and months in advance. I did not do such a thing. In a panic, I found Riverside Campground and Cabins, they only had one tent site left and I... More
