This resort is now booked solid for ever weekend right through December 2007!! This is an indication both on the extensive coverage online, and in various travel magazines and news articles AND its all true! For $135-165/night - you can't beat the value of Treebones. It not only boasts one of the best views on the Central Coast, but you... More

We stayed at Treebones in august. The Yurt was fabulous, clean, and spacious. The staff were very helpful, the main building had a fireplace, gift shop and games to play. Dinner was good, you cannot expect a 5 star meal, we had been eating fancy meals every night, this meal fit the style and atmosphere of treebones. We stayed in... More

I saw a review of Treebone on Sunset magazine and booked in March for October 2006. Place is booked solid for months, but well worth the wait. I took my family there (sister, 14-yr old niece, and mother) and we had a fabulous time. Enjoyed the scenery and the atmosphere very much. I noticed that the staff (employees) run the... More

treebones resort was heavenly. the staff was warm friendly, and very helpful.the yurts were clean cozy and nicely decorated. the bed was very comfortable and you could lie in bed and look up through the dome roof at the stars. the view was amazing and i sat for most of a morning watching a pod of dolphin frolic as well as... A beautiful setting for a highly original place to stay. The Yurt was surprisingly luxurious and comfortable, much more like a hotel room than a tent! A bit pricey, but worth it. Only real grumble was that there was no meal due to lack of chef, but I believe that was down to a bereavement or similar, so can't hold... More

The property is nestled within a mountain valley with an amazing view of the ocean. It's like your right on the ocean's edge. We could hear the seals "barking" at night...not annoying, just loud enough to feel like you were part of nature. The yurt was warm and comfortable, great bedding and mattress. The meal in the lodge was superb...I... More

We stayed at Treebones in December 2006 iin an ocean-view yurt. First, I have to say that the staff is so very nice. They did everything they could to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The place is very clean--which must be a struggle since one is constantly dragging in dirt and debris on one's shoes from the gravel paths... More

While the yurts are unique, spacious, clean, and have very comfortable beds, there are issues. The yurts are very close together, allowing sound to easily travel through the thin canvas walls especially when there are young children. The family yurts are set up with ping pong tables, which is a poor idea given the thin walls and close spacing between... More

We went to Treebones this past summer and the experience was not as good as expected from reading the reviews. First, the place looks a bit run down from the start. The yurts are too close to each other. We paid for full ocean view and it turned out our yurt, #7, had a big tree in front and another... More

The staff at Treebones went above and beyond the call of duty in making our stay the most comfortable and enjoyable it could be. We will be back!
