We were on our PCH road trip and this was one of the camping areas we had decided to try out. Straight away i liked it because of the river running through it...beautiful. The rates for this place were affordable. the grounds were clean and picturesque. There are nice showers you can use which my wife and i really appreciated.... More

This is a very nice, clean location and the staff was super-friendly. It was $80/night, no WIFI; cell phone service wasn't good either. If you want to be off the grid and be one with nature, this is a nice place to do that. We discovered at daybreak their natural setting and flowing streaming.

Really nice camping, spacious tent sites right between the trees, place to park. Decent bathrooms, you need to pay a little for the showers but they were actually very good with a nice hard beam of hot water. A little old maybe. Access to nice hiking trails right off the camping. We saw numerous elks walking around, beautiful! Right next... More

Nice flat campsites that are not on top of one another. The restrooms are showing their age, and they're not very well cleaned or maintained, but they do have showers, despite the drought - which was a welcome relief to us tent campers! There was an interesting ranger talk the evening we were there. It's worth it to make reservations... More

Stayed in pod 98 for 3 nights as part of ur honeymoon. Being regular campers back in the uk, it was luxury to experience great weather and camp in beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed our 3 nights here...being able to unwind and relax amongst the redwood trees. All staff were incredibly friendly and an extra shout out to Stephanie who... More

My kids grew up camping at this campground for a decade - one week at a time. Since then, we still show up most summers. We have also rented an A frame cabin and a few other cabins during the winter at times. We pretty much know it inside out, so I thought it might be helpful to others to... More

We stayed in Cabin A for two nights in August and it was great. I wasn't sure what to expect as the website isn't great and when I called to book the woman who took the booking was quite surly, however we had great service from everyone we met during our stay. The cabin was basic but very cute and... More

We loved this campsite, relaxed atmosphere with lovely little cabins. It was expensive but we were there in peak time which is understandable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the area itself is beautiful with cafes/restaurant and shops a short drive away. (Basically you can turn up with nothing and find everything you need there). I preferred it to... More

...the downside being that you have to leave. This place is so perfect that we genuinely didn't want to leave. We stayed in an A frame cabin. It was amazing. Not really camping as it had massive beds and a fridge, but beautiful and magical. They have rv spaces and tents and cabins and everything and the place is totally... More

Spent just 1 night in cabin C - large and attractive design. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. Cabin right in heart of redwood grove with opening to sky to star gaze! Great fire pit to sit by at night too. Downsides were that you have to drive to any trailhead walks and the price was quite high. However, I think... More
