We returned yet again to The Cottage at Glen Oaks. Why wouldn't we? The place is nice, the location is wonderful, the people -- from the manager and his wife to the housekeeping staff -- are pleasant and friendly. What a wonderful place! We had a beautiful contemporary room with gas fireplace, which is the heat source for the room, and bathroom with heated floor. Right outside our door was our own little patio where you could have your coffee and read your paper, surrounded by trees. We couldn't ask for anything more. It was heavenly. more

My husband and I drove down the coast from San Francisco. We had just left a 5 star hotel and we loved it, but nothing could prepare us for Glen Oaks. We checked in after watching the sunset.
