What a fantastic experience!!! My husband and I just came home from our honeymoon at El Dorado Royale. It was wonderful the first 3 days, until I got severe food poisoining from a trip to Chitch Itza we booked thru Lomas Travel on property. The problem was that no one at the resort even cared that I was ill. Lomas blamed the resort saying... more

Reviews are funny because we all look for and like different things when we travel. My husband and I took our honeymoon at the El Dorado Royal in early September. It was amazing and everything we hoped for. Our room was comfortable, clean and well maintained. They stocked our in room fridge exactly as we asked...I'm sure the tip helped.... more

We have just returned from our honeymoon and it was unreal (brilliant!). After a 11 hour flight (with delays) we arrived at the hotel to be greeted by champaine and wet face cloths, we quickly checked in while the bell boys took care of our luggage and was taken to our room on the shuttle bus, only taken a few... more

I travelled with first choice holidays and flew out of Gatwick and there are some upgrades I would recommend doing firstly when u arrive at Gatwick and got through all the security u see a mass of people sitting all over the place .I had upgraded to the aviance lounge where u can sit and have free drinks etc before... more

Firstly, I must state the staff at this hotel are outstanding….but the ethics within the management structure leave a lot to be desired. The site is spotlessly clean and the staff can’t do enough for you. However this hotel is spilt into two defined areas… the main suites are on the older side of the resort and are under going... more
