Large, clean rooms with a very short walk to the beach. We could see the water from our rooms. We enjoyed the hammocks on the balconies outside our rooms we bought some to bring home. The location is within easy walking distance of the downtown area with a lively plaza and lots of shops and restaurants. Breakfast, cooked and served... more

If you want a quiet, low key, small hotel with scrumptious, healthy breakfasts served by a casual, friendly yet professional host this is the place for you. The rooms are clean, large and tiled with big comfy beds AND a hammock on a lovely porch with a glorious view. Oh, did I mention the beautiful beach right across the street... more

Lovely studio -- super clean, and very nice to have a kitchen. Loved the little town. Would definitely go again, both to the town and the Hotelito Marviya. During this vacation, we also stayed on Isla Mujeres, which was nice but a little overdone for us. Puerto Morelos felt like a real town that tourists happen to come to. more

No complaints at all. I highly recommend it for the traveler who dislikes resorts and all-inclusives. Right across the street from a gorgeous beach! The rooms were verycomfortable and clean, the hosts were very good and we met many interesting people while staying there. I felt my child and my belongings were very safe there, even when I wasn't at... more

This place is run by a woman from Quebec and her Mexican boyfriend. Other than ourselves, the guests were all Canadians, most of them French speakers. The room was clean and spacious, but some lights/switches (such as the one over the lavatory) did not work. The breakfasts were ok, but not outstanding. We stayed at the hotelito for three days... more

Stayed here during New Year's week. The weather was great. The beach across from the hotel is awesome. No waves due to reef. No obstructed views from the hotel. The hotel is old but clean. Has 6 rooms which makes the place nice and quiet. The room has the basics. Bed, table, bathroom, balcony. The bed was comfortable after the... more

A painting by Cesar, the host, hangs in my office. And when i plan my other trips i always ask myself if it will be as good as at Marviya. This is the perfect destination to be with locals and have a great vacation. The Yucatan offers many fun touristy places and Puerto Morelos is a jewel. The locals aren't... more

The hosts were friendly and generous and the ocean view was terrific. Got some good recommendations on eating and fun. Not for the kind of traveler who needs air conditioning but we'd go back for sure. more

We stayed here only one night, we should have stayed longer! The hosts at the hotel were really friendly. Our room had the MOST FANTASTIC ocean view and balcony, which I was not expecting. There was a fridge and a drinking water dispenser in the room (great for refilling your plastic water bottles, lord knows Mexico does not need one... more

We have just returned from our third trip to Puerto Moreleos. This time we tried bed and breakfast at Hotelito. The room and the view was beautiful and well furnished, always super clean with water and fridge in the room. There is also a beautiful shady courtyard. Your hosts Sylvie and Cesar are the best we've encountered on our trips to... more
