Casa Caribe is charming. The rooms are clean, comfortable, fabulous ocean breeze. The staff is welcoming. Breakfast delicious. Centrally located restaurants, shopping and the zocalo are within walking distance.

The property is very well-maintained and staffed. While there are just a few rooms, the staff available make it feel like a larger place. They helped explain opportunities for "local color" and best snorkeling/beach opportunities. The room was fine. Housekeeping great. The view of the beach is advertised as "partial obstruction" but it was great! There is more construction that... More

What a nice quiet retreat, yet close to the heart of downtown. The rooms are spacious and have a wonderful ocean view with a great breeze. Definitely needed during the day. Bathrooms are simple and elegant. Breakfast available everyday. The food was fantastic. The staff was so nice and helpful, They have bikes available, beach chairs too. I highly recommend... More

We are definitely not Cancun-type travelers, and this made Puerto Morelos and Casa Caribe ideal--quiet but near the town center with restaurants and shops, attractive public patio and garden, large room (ground floor, with ac, which we didn't need), friendly staff. Delicious breakfast choices, or so my husband says--I liked the house-made granola with yogurt and fruit so much that... More

We were staying across the street but dropped in on Sunday for the buffet brunch .Lovely garden setting with a hammock to swing in . Fantastic spread of mexican dishes. We loved the chicken in salsa verde with totopes. The tacos al pastor. The delicious soup. The fresh fruit juices. Kat was a treasure trove of information on where to shop... More

Casa Caribe is just across the road from a pristine and quiet beach. It is pretty, beautifully clean and our spacious, lovely room had a large, breezy balcony.Huge , very comfy bed, nice bathroom with roomy shower. The breakfasts are exceptional, try especially the granola with natural yogourt with honey and bee pollen and so many lovely fresh fruits. The B&B... More

We loved the ambiance of Casa Caribe and the fact that it was far enough from town that it was quiet at night, but close enough to walk to/from the central part of town. We loved that there were 2 complimentary bikes for our use--this made our trips around town and to the beach much faster! I would agree that... More

We were delighted to have you stay with us and enjoyed your company too. It was an extremely difficult moment we had with an over booking and you were very kind to move, We remember thanking you at the time and were happy to give you our lovely cook books. We look forward to seeing you next time and welcoming... More

My decision to stay here was as much about the hotel as the cooking school. I was surprised by how bright and large the room was, with plenty of breeze to keep you cool. Being in #4 the palm tree out front blocks the sea view but you can see glimpse of it (particularly when hanging out in the hammock).... More

We booked Casa Caribe for nine nights because it was Number One on Trip Advisor and in spite of some warnings about the attitude of the manager, Catriona. Let us begin by saying that the food service and cleaning staff are excellent and would make excellent employees in any five star facility. Unfortunately the same cannot be said about the... More

Thank you for writing about these issues, the same as you discussed with us at the time of your stay. We were extremely apologetic at the time of your arrival and next morning as well, it was very unfortunate that you were kept waiting an hour to change keys as we value our guests, as you can see by previous... We stayed for 7 days at Casa Caribe and it really exceeded our expectations! After reading the reviews here, I really wanted an upstairs room, but they only had room 5 available for the first part of our stay. We stayed downstairs in room 5 for 4 nights and room 1 upstairs for 3 nights and we decided we definitely... More
