In English after the Finnish if interested Vietimme juuri pari yötä pe-su. Hotellin omilta sivuilta löytyi paras hinta koska halusimme huoneen Castle puolelta. Etukäteen ostettuna kylpylään maksoi koko ajalta meille vain 20€/hlö. Huone oli ihana, 3.kerros. Pieni parveke Saimaalle päin. Huone ihanan viileä näillä helteillä, ihan piti peiton alle yöllä kääriytyä :). Palvelu hyvää ja ystävällistä. Aamupala mielestäni hotellin tasoon... More

We stayed here with our kids (4 yrs old and 6 months old) for two nights. The staff was very helpful and informative. The room was clean and spacious with a balcony but it was quite hot - also in the night time. Air conditioning didn't seem to work properly. The spa was nice but not a very big one.... More

The hotel was good and the customer service was good also in different languages, in particular Russian. Room was nice, but surprising to find that you cannot adjust the air conditioning by yourself. The bed was good, the blankets were good, but maybe too hot in this heat. The spa is made for children not so much for adults. We... More

450 € for a 3 room suite for 4 people for 2 nights wasn't bad. So we didn't have great expectations. The food in the American style Irish bar was good and so was the lake shore and scenery. The nearby Imatra rapids (6 km) were a must see site. Instead the spa and swimming facility in the hotel was... More

This hotel is new and fresh and actually feels out of place considering it is in souther Finland, where all tends to be small and sometimes worn down. Hotel has quite good spa with two water slides, gym, tennis, padel (tennis kind of easier game), and children's plaugrounds etc. We stayed only one night but I could have stayed longer,... More

Stayed 2 nights in a villa apartment. This was a nice way to stay here for a family as we had our own kitchen and didn't need to rely on the restaurants, which were a bit overpriced (as expected in a resort). We had unlimited water park passes, which we all enjoyed. Service was generally friendly but not as consistently... More

A very nice location by the lake Saimaa. In addition to the spa hotel there are a quite many holiday apartments in Rauhaniemi area, so I guess that during the peak season it can get pretty crowded. The Holiday Club rooms were in very nice condition and comfortable. Spa was clearly aimed for younger cliente; it has nice water slides... More

The spa is established in the area of a former psychiatric hospital, Rauhan sairaala, "hospital of peace". During the time of our visit the old ward building was under construction. I don't know whether they are going to offer also the seclusion rooms to the clients. Not a bad idea... To get there you need a car. HCF Saimaa is... More

Great place to rest in new hotel, with rooms of high quality. Spa within hotel isn't best in Finland, but is worth visiting with or without sleepover in hotel, if you happen to be nearby. Several restaurants offer you variety of food with different price ranges from 15 € O'learys burger to high-end horsemeat steak.

Three days, from Sunday to Wednesday. We chose a good time for our small holiday: in the beginning of the week, and just before Easter. No rush in the spa, no queues in the breakfast room. Spa was really nice: clean and big enough. Nice music show with colourful water effects. Several hot tubes, good swimming possibilities. Hotel environment is... More
