As a base for skiers this hotel ticks almost all the boxes: Cheapish, good parking, easy to get to funicamp (either by car or the free bus) and the breakfast is decent enough. The rooms are clean and there's loads of hot water. There are some things that will get on your nerves though: Breakfast is from 8am - a... More

Over the last 10 years I have booked endless groups of friends into the hotel both for skiing and during the summer. Although I have an apartment in Encamp I have even stayed there myself when I have been passing through and didn't want to open up my place and cook for myself. For skiing the hotel is ideally placed... More

The hotel is very nice and cosy. We stayed here for our ski vacation. The train station to the cable carts is very near so you don't have to carry your ski equipment long. Breakfast and dinner are at 8 which sometimes feels a little late. Breakfasts is pretty simple but covers it. Would have been nice to have a... More

The first thing (but not the most important!) I would like to say is that the hotel is perfectly located in the centre of the country. It will be a perfect choice if you want to explore this tiny and beautiful country. It's also a good option for skiing (the Funicamp is at some streets from the hotel and they... More

Very friendly staff, and most of all we appreciated the location - a bus stop was just across the road a few steps further. You can get into the bus already equipped in ski boots. On the ground-floor of the hotel is a room for skis and your belongings. We had breakfasts (plenty enough food) and suppers, which consisted of... More

What can i say about Montecarlo? Lovely small hotel on the main street of Encamp. Funibus or train to Funicamp stops in front of the hotel's door, so you can easy get it. Breakfast was poor enough, but dinner was exellent! It consisted of 5 dishes - a cold salat, a hot salad, a main dish, a desert and a... More
