We found the property to be convenient, breakfast was excellent, views were lovely of the Adriatic, and the people wanted to make our stay as pleasant as possible. A travelers hotel, but an excellent one.

We booked this hotel because we were planning on a road trip around Puglia and Camparia. It's in the Bari-Brindisi highway by a petrol station, which by the way is one of the cheapest we found in the whole trip. At arrival everything was a bit chaotic due to a large group check in before us. Also, one of the... More

It was a business trip, with a handball team society, for the national and female Coppa Italia. At the beginning, we were assigned to another hotel, but it revealed a terrible one. So, we moved in second instance to Barion hotel: here we found competence, hospitality, neatness, good food, excellent service, friendliness. And everything in short time (we were 26... More

This hotel is a perfect base for visiting nearby towns. We took the train from Rome to Bari and then rented a car. The hotel was easy to find and the front desk staff arranged for us to have lunch in the dining room, even though they do not serve lunch. Our server, Vito, was fabulous. He was charming and... We found this hotel by trying to get free parking really but it was a very nice hotel. It does feel very businessy and the parking area gets quite busy at night. Locationwise it is a bit far from the city centre and it is by a busy road so you do need a car if you stay here as... More

Found this as a last resort when we couldn't find anywhere in the small coastal towns south of Bari. We'd never have chosen a business hotel on the dual carriageway but it was surprisingly nice. Reasonably sized room with sea view (albeit across the dual carriageway), good breakfast on the 6th floor terrace. Small gym free to use. Very nice... More

A nice hotel with an excellent service. A special thank to Roberto, for his great kindness and the coffee he made to us at breakfast. Thank you too for the lady who was involved in the breakfast service. An other special thank to Carmen at the reception for having taking time to help and advise with the problem of stolen... More

The staff at Barion Hotel was excellent. They answered all of our questions and were very accommodating. However, by looking at the hotel picture I assumed that I could walk outside and get to the ocean. The picture is the view you have from the breakfast area but you cannot walk to the beach and it is not a really... More

Yes, you need a car to even find this hotel - not easy given the Italian road system - but once found it really is ideal for seeing Puglia, despite being on its own in the middle of nowhere!. The room was comfortable and very clean. We opted for a quiet room at the back overlooking fields. The evening meal... More

We found the Barion Hotel isolated and lacking in activity. The hotel itself is nice with art deco decor and there are several social areas. Our room was clean, large, comfortable and offered the usual amenities, blow dryer didn't work. The Internet was very slow so we stopped trying to use it. The highlight is breakfast (included) which is served... More
