We have just returned from our timeshare week in Mabula. The overall experience was great lots of animal sitings. The Bush Braai(South African for B B Q) was not good due to the fact that there was inadiquate fire to cook all the food for 6 people. We ended up going to the Lodge for dinner . We were compensated... More

We own a timeshare unit here and it is always a lovely holiday. The views from the chalets are amazing and the wildlife is abundant. The staff are all lovely and helpful; even coming out to check on an 'injured' mouse who turned out to just be lazy. Nothing is too much trouble and the activities are well organised and... More

I stayed at Mabula on a 2 day conference in March 2015. They have ample accommodation and conferencing facilities for larger groups. Lunch and breakfast was at the main restaurant, buffet style, with a variety of meals for all tastes. Sundowners were served in the bush on our game drive, and dinner was served under the trees at a venue... More

I would just like to comment on our stay at Mabula Game Lodge from the 5 – 8th of March. • First of all I would like to mention that our Field Guide (Solly) was excellent at providing us with sightings of all the animals we wanted to view and he went the extra mile to make sure that we... More

We spent last week-end at Mabula where we've been going annually since 1982, just at the time they introduced elephants. Now they've also introduced Cheeta making games drives that more exciting! The stay there is always a super break from driving one's car daily - the game drives are included & you simply get on board, relax & learn from... More

We were honored to have spent a weekend at Mabula with family recently ... awesome place, very comfy, extremely friendly staff (perfect some for r&r). Were also lucky to have seen the lions which made the trip even more memorable.

We were lucky to able to stay in a beautiful comfy lodge in Sunset Hills. Perfect for self catering, although we only did breakfast. The views of the bush were stunning. Buffet lunch & dinners were served in the main lodge. Prices very reasonable due to the good exchange rate for us. Relaxed & informal in the restuarant. Daily game... More

Having spent 3 days at the lodge we were fortunate to have George as our guide, he was well informed and made sure that we all were able to see the animals up close and take photos. We saw lions, elephant, giraffe and many more besides. The accommodation was adequate and food fair, the resturant was a little unorganised but... More

We have visited this beautiful lodge several times - and will definitely come back again . We appreciate the hospitality and especially the nature and the many animal experiences. We enjoy every second. Also nice in combination with a visit at Zebula Golf & Spa.
