My wife and I recently stayed three nights at the Lyons Cove B & B which is a beautiful home located at the end of a quiet cove with a good view of Minas Basin. The accommodations were very comfortable but lacked some of the finer touches that would allow this B&B to reach an excellent rating. The area is... More

First off I will say that the location and views were really nice. The location was not easy to find and when we called the host a little out of town for directions it almost seemed to be a bother to him. The room was not ready when we arrived late in the afternoon and there were not towels in... More

First of all, the accommodations are beautiful, as well as the view from the Suite. The common areas in the house are well done in regard to décor, furniture, views and cleanliness. However, the service was not so well done. The Host forced his personal views regarding United States politics on us over breakfast in a harsh manner and it... More

My only regret is that I did not know enough about this place in time to book more then one night. Had I known how perfect this place was I would have stayed here longer. The hosts (including the world's best dog) were fabulous, the home a dream, and the location on Minas Bay was priceless. This was one stop... More

Beautiful accommodations, the Bay of Fundy, eagles, delicious food, friendly host....what more could you ask for? I definitely recommed this B & B, especially the suites that face the Bay of Fundy. Spacious room, private deck with a table and chairs, and a swing that is big enough to take a nap on in the afternoon! We totally enjoyed our... More

We stayed at several lovely B&Bs during our week in Nova Scotia, but Lyons Cove was without doubt the jewel in the crown. Arriving after an early supper at the Port Pub in Port Williams (highly recommended--and do get supper prior to arrival at Lyons Cove, as you won't want to leave), we were greeted outside by the owner's handsome... This is a unique experience, definitely worth going out of your way. A short drive from Port Williams leads you to a stunningly handsome, custom-designed manse perched perfectly above a private cove on Minas Bay with Cape Blomidon just to your left. Ask for one of the suites facing the bay; each has a porch with a swing where you... More

Lyons Cove is a beautiful bed and breakfast in a quiet spot with stunning views yet not far from good restaurants, parks and the Landscape of Grand Pre. Although my husband and I enjoy talking with other guests, on the night we stayed at Lyons Cove we had the large house to ourselves. After a walk down to the beach... More

We had a wonderful time at this unusual B&B. This B&B is a luxury custom built modern home that has been turned into a spacious and grand B&B. Our clean well appointed room was a large master bedroom with a wonderful balcony looking out to sea. The bath was also spacious and had a hot tub. We arrived at dinner... More

We just returned from a great weekend at Lyons Cove. This was a spectacular bed and breakfast with caring owners, extremely clean location, excellent breakfasts, and great views. The rooms are large and bright, many windows; beds soft without being too much; a large house that makes you feel at home but not cramped in space; a lovely patio/deck off... More
