Whenever we are on the south shore of the Bay of Fundy, we always return to the Farmhouse. It is a great location for sightseeing, hiking, beachcombing, and dining out. Andrea, the innkeeper, is always a delight. She has a wealth of knowledge about the "Valley" and can help you discover all the unique delights of the area. As always,... More

A well updated old farm house, which maintains interesting character throughout. Each room has an additional private sitting room which works perfectly if your partner retires early, sleeps later, or is simply taking forever to get ready.... Beds were comfortable, hot water lasted continuously through guests, and the food was excellent. Owners were extremely pleasant people, easy to talk with,... More

Clean, lovely rooms, wonderful breakfast! Thank-you very much for a great nights sleep, and all the info about the area! The mattress was so comfortable we looked at the label. Canadian made, we will try to find in the states.

A friend and I stayed at this B&B for one night. We had a room upstairs which had a bathroom and small anti-room (once housed a jacuzzi). The bed was very comfortable, 2 twins made into a king. It was very clean and well maintained. There were ceiling fans which were ineffective but the weather was not that warm. It... More

This converted farmhouse offers a small number of accommodations that are excellently appointed and maintained. My wife and I stayed on a second floor suite with its own Jacuzzi, fire place, nice TV, AC as well as a nice separate bathroom. Our breakfasts were well done and generous. The Inn is changing owners later this year. We hope the new... More

Wow...it's like being at granny's except with electricity. This beautiful circa 1840 farmhouse turned bed and breakfast is right on the main highway of a little town called Canning in Nova Scotia. It's away from all the hustle and bustle of the big city but close enough to not be out of the way. Do yourself a favour and stay... More

My wife and I stayed at the Farmhouse Inn B&B for two nights in October. Our suite on the ground floor with a separate entrance was large, comfortable, and clean. The bed was excellent and the quiet village of Canning never intruded. Breakfast both mornings was superbly prepared, especially tasty and huge. Andrea very smoothly handled introductions of guests and... More

This is a very nice B & B in the quiet and charming village of Canning. We spend at least two nights there every time we go to Nova Scotia. The owner, Andrea, is very gracious and full of helpful advice an all the local attractions. It is a nice location and nearby attractions are the fabulous Bay of Fundy... More

Our family of four spent a wonderful 3 nights at the Farmhouse Inn in Canning. It was a change from planned itinerary at last minute and we couldn't be happier with the overall experience. Andrea and her Inn are absolutely charming. The house has character but is well kept with everything you need. Comfortable bed. Great coffee and food. Large... More

We spent a week at the Farmhouse Inn and enjoyed he B:&B and the area very much. Andrea was a wonderful host. Always ready with helpful suggestions of things to do and see. The area is beautiful, the people friendly and the restaurants great - love those Digby scallops!! Andrea's breakfasts were fantastic. Wayne and Kathy
