I stayed at the Hillcrest for just one night and what a pleasure it was. Doreen is the perfect host and I was made very welcome. The room ( a double that I had to myself ) was spotlessly clean , the shower was powerfull with lots of lovely hot water and the bed extremely comfortable with a soft mattress.... More

We recently stayed at Hillcrest as we were attending a wedding at the British Legion Hall in Radcliffe. We actually stayed for 2 nights so that we could also explore the local area. Our room, which had an en-suite, was clean, tidy and had tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was an immense and high quality selection of cereals, fruits,... More

My brother and I and our partners stayed here for the weekend as we were competing in the Outlaw Triathlon. It was very clean and comfortable and Doreen was very nice and accommodating to our odd needs (i.e. getting up at 4am and using the kitchen on race day). Great breakfast - can also recommend the nearby Manvers Arms for... More

My son and I stayed at Hillcrest last night because he was competing in a canoeing competition at nearby Holme Pierrepoint. Doreen was extremely welcoming, the room and bathroom were spotless and the bedroom very comfortable. Breakfast was HUGE and excellent quality. Will definitely be staying again when we are around Nottingham. Also we can recommend the nearby Indian restaurant... More

I stayed here for 2 nights so I could attend my friends son's funeral. My friend lived a few doors away but her house was full with family. Doreen was exceptionally hospitable. She cooked breakfast for me even though I had missed the allocated time for breakfast. The room was lovely and bright and it had a beautiful garden. There... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hillcrest in Radclifffe on Trent for the Iron Man competition held on 6th July 2013. The location was a hop skip and a jump from the competition venue and everything was just so good. The room was clean and comfortable with all the little added extra's that even some of the big hotels... More

Guided by Tripadvisor to this B&B, we had no reason to regret the choice. Comfy room, excellent choice at breakfast and a real character of a proprietor in Doreen made our two nights' stay there really enjoyable. Highly recommended.
