Very well renovated ancient villa converted in hotel with all comforts, SPA, swimming pool and restaurant surprisingly good: we had dinner in the garden thanks good weather and we had very good white lasagne and as dessert ricotta cheese with pear coulis that was amazing. The hotel is located in a beautiful location with a great view on Umbrian ills,... More

This is a real gem of a boutique hotel hotel, tucked away in Umbria. The rooms are lovey, staff very helpful and the location great. It has a very good restaurant the serves food typical of the area. I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again

Our mistake was not booking for longer!!! From the moment we arrived everything was an absolute pleasure. Alessandro greeted us and couldn't be more helpful. The setting is stunning, the food and service excellent, our room spacious and tasteful, the grounds and pools well maintained and we will definitely be back next year for longer. It was our first port... More

Stayed for our last 2 nights from our 9 night trip to Italy. Wished we were able to stay longer! A lovely place which is very well kept considering the size and fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. We had a room on the first floor in the main building which had a living room which gave us somewhere to... More

Calm, beautiful place, has wonderful views among olive trees and grapes. excellent service. excellent restaurant. Perfect place to spend calm vacation in country side atmosphere as well as a base to daily trips in Umbria and Toscana. Prices are decent and very cost effective to the return.

We recently stayed for 3 nights in the hotel. We were in room No. 23 which is in Casa die Gelsi, which contains 4 rooms and is separate from the main villa. It was a lovely room, and is about 100 yards from the main house. It is very quiet and has the advantage of having its own swimming pool.... More

This place is so beautiful and off the beaten track everything is thought of before you get to even ask the staff are great the restaurant divine. The wine superb. The grounds are perfectly maintained My only small complaint would be you can hear the people in adjoining room Think this maybe a European thing not sure

This hotel is in a lovely spot near the top of a hill with great views around. We spent the first night in one of the rooms down the hill from the main hotel & although we had a wonderful view from the window & didn't mind the walk up to the restaurant (you can drive if you want) I... More

This is a really lovely place and has the feel of the old grand tour Italy. Elegant and understated. The food in the restaurant is very good and the staff throughout the hotel is friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely return again.

We stayed here for a week. It is a great base for exploring Umbria, and our room (A superior bedroom in the Limonaia) was very comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant offers excellent food in the dining room or, weather permitting, on the terrace. Breakfast was also served on the terrace and offered a good choice. The setting is high... More
