Stayed 2 nights in August in the little holiday homes. These are modern, clean, self contained holiday homes were a great find. Walking distance to the medieval star shaped fort-village of Bourtange. We stayed in the rooms inside the main building which has been beautifully converted from a farmhouse. These have shared bathroom facilities that are a bit dated and could have been cleaner. Outside there are several individual cabins that are much newer and look very comfortable. There is a large share kitchen and lounge chairs as well as outside seating.... More

It's nice to stay for a midweek in one of these hotelhomes. Breakfast was good and nice to have in this little 'house'. We have had good times and it's good to have your bike with you.
