A glass of prosecco cheered us up at check in and the staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious on the top floor (no elevator all the way). The breakfast could be taken both in and outside.

Nicely decorated hotel in the middle of Radda with friendly service. Beware of the showers, which also spray at hip level! Some of the rooms cannot be reached by elevator, so pack a light bag. Breakfast buffet is ok but not spectacular.

We were here for two nights and stayed in a corner room over looking the church. Like the town of Radda the hotel is charming. There isn't much at the hotel, breakfast is average Italian continental and the service standards are average, the building and the town made up for it.

This was a nice little hotel in the small Tuscan town of Radda in Chianti. We stayed here as part of a small tour of Tuscany. The view from the room was nice, the room was clean, but the bedding was a little uncomfortable and musty. The staff were friendly, but not quite as warm as we'd encountered at other... More

I was very apprehensive before the trip bearing in mind the poor reviews recently. However, what a pleasant surprise awaited us: friendly reception, lovely room (204), good continental breakfast (although the croissants were slightly burnt) with good selection to suit most tastes. We visited at end of November for 3 nights, which made it quieter and pleasant. Radda is a... More

Our room was cellar like with no window. The receptionist was extremely unfriendly and could not care for giving any service, except the key. The cafe in the hotel had dirty rest rooms and nobody cares. Another room for our friends was directly unhealthhy with a strongbsmell of fungis, and the recectionist could not care less. Why does the hotel... More

Dear Mr Hansen, first of all we are very sorry that you prefer writing here just after your arrival without having spoken with the staff of the hotel about your dissatisfaction, even because as soon as we knew about your problem we changed your room giving you another one of higher category. We want our guests to be glad about... More

On first arriving at this hotel it looked nice. I went out for the evening with friends. I had a room beside the courtyard that looks out onto the Church. On my return I was shocked to see the room was infested with ants. There were ants on the floor and in the bed. I went to the reception but... More

We are very sorry for the discomfort caused by the ants in room, that we solved the day after thanks to a special deep cleaning of the room. Actually, it was the first time that we had faced that kind of problem. We tried to do our best, letting you choose another available room in the hotel. Hoping that you... More

Stayed here in August, greeting with champers was ok, but right from the start I noticed flies in the bar area. Had a suite in the attic, poor choice. 45 metres but let's not mention the height of most of the roof. Sky view! Nothing more. Jacuzzi broken, shower flooded out, swimming pool is actually not at the hotel but... More

This was our favorite hotel during our 2 week stay in Italy! We stayed in a superior double room and It was gorgeous, clean, romantic and large. Upon arrival we were greeted with a delicious glass of sparkling wine. Hotel staff were friendly and knowledgable. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of options. There was also a... More

Great hotel, right in the center of this tiny, mountain-top village. Looks right onto the central piazza -- for breakfast you can eat outside at a table in the Piazza. Our room was cave-like with one small window in the door, but large and comfortable with a quirkily-shaped bathroom but all the comforts one requires. There was a large courtyard... More
