This hotel is excellent. We booked a "suite" for two adults and two kids. We had two completely separate rooms, with a bathroom in between, separated by heavy doors--so early risers didn't wake late sleepers. The buildings are stone, the walkways are brick and lined with lavendar and other aromatic plants, and the service is professional and friendly. The breakfasts... More

Booked a suite for €190 via the hotel website. The room was great and the general ambiance of the place was lovely. The pool area was busy but still calm and enjoyable. There's a bar by the pool but it was unstaffed and when some fellow guests tried to call for service via the telephone, it took more than 30... More

We booked our room via the Internet based on the reviews we had read and the pictures - and the actual experience surpassed them all. The unexpected highlight was the food - each night an amazing Tuscan feast is offered for 25 euros per person. These turned out to be the best meals we had in all of Italy! The... More

This property was fantastic. The location was absolutely beutiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We ate dinner in the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent and the atmosphere was fantastic. The only two negatives that I would have is the location is 1-2 kilometers on a very twisty narrow road... More

This is the most beautiful hotel that we stayed on our trip that included siena, Florence and Rome. The setting is amazing. The villa is located in hte middle of the rolling hills of Chianti and is quiet and poetic. The room is huge, and the pool area is beautiful too. The bathroom is updated, but not luxury. The breakfast... More

My wife and I arrived at Borgo di Vescine in September after we booked via web. The price of 170 euro for each of three nights was not cheap, but for sure completely worth every single euro. They gave us the "honeymoon-suite", a circa 60 squaremetre suite with a terrace and a great view to a peaceful valley. The bathroom... More

With the exception of our room being a little on the small size, this place would merit a return visit. Very helpful staff and the pool was great after touring Tuscany. Breakfast on the terrace was very enjoyable and our dinner one night was a Tuscan experience. The restaurant just down the road-Ristornate Cantoniere-was some of the best food we... More

An unspeakably beautiful setting where we brought 38 people from around the globe for a three day celebration. A renovated 13th century hamlet, the rooms were beautiful to the last and the detail inspired. The staff were perfect, attentive and loving. Sounds to good to be true? Give it a try.
