Friendly staff, lovely and quirky old building in a nice walled town with beautiful views across the countryside. We had a comfortable room but there is only the bed to sit on, could do with a couple of chairs. There is a terrace to sit outside and admire the view.

This accommodation was arranged as part of a Vespa tour for me. Wow it was beautiful. Wonderfully restored and I was transported back to medieval elegance. The staff were extremely helpful with any request, breakfast was good and the jacuzzi was perfect after a hot day riding. Located in the heart of Radda and peaceful. Definitely worth it

We enjoyed three nights at hotel Leopolde in Radda. This was a very unique, beautifully restored hotel on top of a small village. Our room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the surrounding valley. We arrived from Florence on a rainy day, following the GPS. We weren't sure if we should be driving up into the beautiful village... More

Spent 2 nights and days and loved every minute. The staff was warm, courteous, helpful.....the room clean, comfortable and million dollar view. The morning buffet on the rooftop terrace a scene from a Hollywood movie. Conveniently located to journey out in the beautiful country side. Had a cooking class while there with Paola that was delicioso! Would I stay again?... More

Palazzo Leopoldo is a lovely hotel in a fully restored building in the center of Radda. Since Radda is only a few blocks long, the hotel is close to everything. We were in room #9 which is a suite with a king bed in one room and a large separate living room. The bedroom had two standard sized windows with... More

We just stayed at the Palazzo Leopoldo for a couple of days. Had a beautiful room which was large and with a great view. The bathroom was spacious, and both were clean. The reception and public areas are lovely - soft comfortable chairs you can just relax into. There is even a beautiful and serene chapel on the second floor... More

May 2 thru 9 2015. Hotel is located in the town of Radda in Chianti. Not sure of the room class as we were staying as part of a “Culture Discovery Vacations” Group, touring wine makers and other sights for the week and attending cooking classes given by Lorenzo Migliorini in the hotel’s kitchen. Breakfast was excellent. hotel is impressive... More

After hiking into Radda from Volpaia we began our search for a night's lodging. We checked a couple of small hotels. Either they were full or weren't very pleasant looking. We walked by the Palazzo Leopoldo and by the look of it appeared way out of our price range. But we checked it out anyway and were amazed at the... More

This hotel is a gem! Quiet and clean. Great breakfast on the veranda overlooking the Chianti region. Not a lot to do right in Radda but a great base camp to visit Siene and other areas in this rich cultural area. Staff was wonderful. Internet is very spotty.

What a lovely hotel. The location is nice, in the small town of Raada. Nearby to vineyards. Need a car to get around,. Pool is very nice. Breakfast very good. Rooms are nice and big with beautiful views.
