Diving was very good, did the open water course there. Very competent and professional diving instructors and diving base. Perfect. Food was always fresh and tasty, friendly staff. This is a real barefoot island, we didn't were shoes for the whole two weeks.

A resort 40 minutes by a sea plane from the international air port in Male. It is a serene and beautiful resort. The water is turquoise blue, with white sand beach. The place is renowned as heaven for snorkeling and scuba diving. The staffs are friendly and helpful and the deluxe water villa is comfortable and clean.

Thirteenth time in the Maldives and the second time I buy a trip to "Purely Maldives" UK - Good service, reasonable prices and possibility to pay in euros. Stayed 9 nights in Angaga, full board, beach villa. If my review depended only on the beauty of the island, surely Angaga would be in my top 4 or 5, unfortunately the... More

We spent 5 nights in one of the new superior water bungalows and would highly recommend Angaga if you're on a limited budget and yet you're looking for outstanding natural beauty and a good house reef, in one of the most sought after atolls in the Maldives (within easy reach to some manta and whale shark points). Angaga has a... More

I feel bad rating at 3 as I think it's a better than average island, but it's just not quite a 4....maybe 3.5! We spent 10 nights on Angaga over Christmas and New Year, and had a wonderful break. It was our second visit to the island, we were last there in September 2013. It is the only Maldives island... More

Hotel information states that the resort is 25-30 minutes by sea plane, but reality is worse.  The noisy, hot and packed sea plane trip cannot be that short unless your travel group is more than 12 people in total.  The arranged sea plane will be flying with guests from different hotels.  You may end up staying in the noisy sea... The resort Angaga is situated in the South Ari Atoll. Even for Maldivian standards it is very small. It measures about 450 by 130 metres and offers 50 beach bungalows and, now, 40 water villas divided over two jetty's. There's a restaurant, main bar, sundown bar, reception, dive and water sports centre, spa, little shop and that's about it. Therefor... More

My husband and I had a fabulous honeymoon at Angaga. We were there towards the end of August, it was such a perfect day when we arrived and so was the day we left. It poured rain every other day and was extremely windy. We stayed in the water bungalow, it was a bit scary because when the wind was... More
