We stayed 4 nights at this 5 star Hotel with great Villas with plunge pools and bicycles to get around if you did not want to use the golf buggy. Food was sophisticated Euro / Asian which we found more of on our travels particularly as we stayed in 3 of this Group Uga Hotels, we were a little sad... More

It was simply an amazing experience as the resort itself is truly magnificent and it was able to give us the feeling that we are with the nature. From the welcome to the last day of our trip we were given an excellent service by a very courteous and they had a very thoughtful gesture. The suite we got was... More

We loved staying at this resort. The staff are fantastic and food is delicious. The resort itself is truly beautiful and you really feel at one with nature. The bicycles provided at each cabin are a great idea. The rooms/cabin are like no other room I've stayed in before- with personal jacuzzi for each cabin. The rooms are spacious and... More

Many people will fall in love with this hotel…the pool is magnificent; the surrounds are immaculately kept; and when we had a problem with our room, the management could not have done more to resolve it for us – including a surprise supper laid out on the lawn surrounded by lanterns…thank you guys, we were blown away by this thoughtful... Great boutique hotel with fantastic facilities and a very warm service and great food too! one word of caution - happy figuring out what's free in the mini fridge! Milk in the fridge is free, so are the water bottles, do not touch the nuts packets and sprigles in the living room! It's not free and it's expensive! I asked... More

We arrived very early off a long flight and were touched by the warmth of the welcome. They were quick to arrange our room and to organise a delicious breakfast. The chalet was spacious, comfortable and full of luxurious touches like loose leaf tea. We loved the fact you could order meals at any time and dine in our room-... More

We really enjoyed a few days at this peaceful retreat. Every villa comes with bicycles to get around the vast grounds. Excellent Sri Lankan cuisine. In fact, it was the best we tasted on our trip. Great service and very comfortable villas. Well worth a detour and next time we'll stay for a week and use it as our base.

Positives - 20 minutes from Anuradhapura & 1 hour from Sigiriya - spacious bungalow rooms with private plunge pools - lovely central pool area - fabulous spa treatments - smart colonial reception - abundant wildlife (we had 20 monkeys playing outside our room) - most comfortable bed ever! Negatives - slightly tired rooms and restaurant area (pigeons nesting in restaurant)... More

This is a lovely resort which makes every effort to meet its guests' needs. The bungalows are private, beautiful and well appointed. Transportation to the main house is via bicycle or cart during the day and by cart at night. The main pool is a dream to swim in with butterflies and birds in abundance. An early morning bird watching... More

After a 4 hour drive to the hotel we were met by the hotel welcoming party - which consisted of a refreshing drink, cool wipes and then we were asked to take part in the welcoming ceremony the lighting of the lamp and ringing the bell to announce our arrival. This was brilliant and whilst this experience is offered to... More
