Prior to visiting The Cliffside Inn I took the time to view any available photos I could find. Rest assured, the personal experience is far more breathtaking and satisfying. No photo could do this experience its true justice. When my partner and I arrived at The Cliffside, it took only a few moments to quickly seek out its availability for... More

We started off our two week trip through the Maritimes in PEI and stayed at the Cliffside Inn. We were supposed to stay for two nights, but we didn't want to leave and extended our stay for another two. Host Robert Lawlor runs an absolutely magnificent place. Peaceful and beautiful, the Cliffside Inn could not be more aptly named. The... More

Innkeeper Robert Lawlor has found his true calling. As our host, his hospitality was first rate not to mention his easy going fun loving spirit and his willingness to make our stay both comfortable and memorable. Our room personified our top 3 “S” factors - spotless, spacious and superb. Did I mention the amazing views and oh yes, let’s not... More

When I arrived at Cliffside Inn, the host Robert was a stranger - when I left 5 days later, I felt I had made a new friend. I had planned a 4-day stay, but I was enjoying myself so much that I asked to stay another night. Where else could I go and the answer to my question, "What time... More

The Cliffside Inn is everything you want and expect a PEI Inn should be. The grounds envelope you in its sea salt air and you're greeted with stunning views of the Northumberland Strait that rival any ocean view in the country. Our stay in the Annex was simply pastoral; you feel as though you're in tuned with nature while in... More

From the breathe taking home to the delicious breakfast you quickly realize you are truly staying in a place of perfection. The accommodations are so inviting. Plenty of room to relax, take in the gorgeous scenery or have a great night's sleep. Every part of the Inn is so welcoming. The surroundings give you such a sense of comfort as does... More

Luxurious is the first word that comes to mind in describing The Cliffside Inn. It is one of, if not THE best, B&B's you will ever get to enjoy time at, and we've stayed at a lot of B&B's over the last 10 years - both as a single couple and with kids. It was the highlight accommodations over our... More

The Cliffside Inn was the perfect choice for our family vacation and I highly recommend it. The Inn is spacious and homey, the staff are beyond accommodating, and the view is spectacular! In addition, we were pleasantly surprised to find it located only minutes from the Ferry and beaches, and that the breakfast included with our room was a full,... More

Our family of four spent three nights at the Cliffside Inn, which we used as a base for our cycling tour of eastern PEI. We concur with other reviewers' comments on the quality of rooms, bedding, towels, etc, thus just a few comments on our personal experience at the Inn. Robert, our host, had great tips for where to cycle... More

While the website made the Inn look attractive, we were unprepared for how beautiful the setting was and how well-appointed the rooms were. We could see the ocean from our windows, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we'd slept in on our travels. Bob was a gracious and charming host and supplied us with bocce balls to... More
