We have been here four times now in 2 years, staying in August and October each year. We love it, our girls (6&4) love it too. We have stayed in a different cabin each time, they are all different but they have all been really cosy. We bring our mountain bikes and spend 2 or 3 days each time at... More

Thanks for taking the time to write a review for us. You clearly like the village, cabins and Snowdonia having visited us 4 times in 2 years, which is lovely to hear. Nice to read your comments about Coed y Brenin and the Precipice Walk, we have visited both with our children as well and enjoy them too. We have... More

The holiday village is perfectly located between Porthmadog and Dolgellau, with fantastic views of the Rhinog mountains, and Cader Idris. The accommodation offered is varied, depending on how recently the cabins were built, and the 2 bed cabins are quite limited in size so it is worth paying extra for a 3 bed if there are a few of you,... My fourth year coming to the village I love the area so peaceful and relaxing great if you have a dog as theres lots of long local walks with black rock beach about 20 mins away which is a very lovely beech for kids to play on then back to the village for a few beers on the night.

This was booked through a friend of a friend and what a great place. Cabin was excellent, site excellent and pub excellent. Could not fault the place. Really peaceful or active depending on your criteria. Kids loved the playground and football pitch. Great little walks in the dark so bring your torch.

We stayed here last week with four kids aged 2 to 10. We hired a roomy 3 bed log cabin with views over Snowdon. Just beautiful. The cabin was large and we'll equipped. Only niggle was that all the heating was off and you couldn't turn it on and at night in the Welsh mountains it gets a bit chilly.... More

Many thanks for your review, we're pleased you had a good time with us and that you liked your cabin, the views across to the mountains and the children liked our play area. Sorry you felt it a bit chilly at night, if you'd have let us know we could have supplied some extra heaters. We do not leave the... More

We have just returned after a week stay. We stayed in cabin no.306. It was very well situated for the play park. We had two children with us aged 2 and 5. Very quiet and peaceful. We've been going to this site for the past 6 or so years and have always found it very tranquil, clean and great staff, who know their stuff on the local attractions. The cabins are great for a base as you spend most days out. They are cosy little places with all the amenities within walking... More
