Since my last review i've been back a few times and it's a lot better...BUT it is now frequented by a rather strange chap who wanders about randomly at the bar. If you're the sort of person who values personal space you might want to be careful and keep an eye on your pint!

Whilst rooms are basic had wi-fi plenty of parking. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order an was top quality. Great independent restaurant/ pub Pig & Sow brisk walk away. As at the back of pub very quiet with no road noise.

75 minutes for 2 kids and 3 adults main courses. We were told on 4 occassions "your food is on its way". Once food arrived 1 of the adults meals was wrong. I was offered a replacement however by this time the entire family were starving. Tables not cleared, generally very untidy.

Took my husband here for his birthday, a mid week visit.We had an absolutaly lovely time. The staff were so nice and friendly, not too imposing but on hand if needed. Lovely room.Lovely food. What more did one need.
