Fantastic looking hotel from the outside and the grounds. The long drive in prepares you for....what ever you expect. The staff are very helpful amd pleasant and do anything for you. The Oakes restaurant for diner and breakfast was great...the Seabass was to die for. The menu was very limited to 5 choices so take a walk to the pub(Pig... more

Having just returned from a 2 night stay at Hanbury Manor yesterday, I was shocked at the reviews shown for this hotel. I can honestly say that I had a fantastic weekend with my partner and two of our friends. We did not eat at the hotel apart from breakfast (which was great and we even managed to sit outside... more

We have visited Hanbury Manor four times over the past few years and the hotel needs a make over really badly. The time before last we stayed and looked at 5 rooms before we found one that had the least amount of rotten wood round the bath and the tiles was still dirty and they looked like they would fall... more

We stayed one night. Although we asked for a non-smoking room, the previous guests clearly had ignored this. As expected, excellent service, but the decor of the hotel and bedroom was a little tired and in need of a makeover. fabulous view of the golf course. more

I visited this hotel during the week with my some other members of my family. The most notable thing about this hotel is the staff who, without exception, were friendly, efficient and could not do enough for us to make our stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible, e.g. valet parking, luggage unpacked and packed into the cars upon arrival/departure,... more

We have just come back form a weekend break at Hanbury Manor. Although the room was fine and the staff we encountered were very nice, I would still have second thoughts about returning as I think there are better hotels for the same money. We had stayed at Hanbury before and on this occassion we stayed for one night. On... more

Hanbury Manor is a beautiful hotel - the building and interiors have a lovely old fashioned style. Our room was huge, with a comfy bed, and the bathroom was one of the biggest I've seen. The only negative I had was the food at the two restaurants on the property. Zodiac is expensive, with some decent dishes, but lacking the... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night and expected a lot considering the cost of the hotel. We spent the day in the spa (a Friday) hoping for some relaxation, peace and quiet where there was a swimming pool, jacuzzi, mixed gender sauna and separate steam rooms. We were very disappointed. The pool was full of kids spashing... more

Old place renovated -a long time ago- by Marriott. efficient service even if the staff is very young, coming from very different places around the world and not the most prossional even if ok. Room in the new building was ok but boring. The whole experience was ok but below expecation. Pictures on the website are better than reality. Catering... more

We stayed here twice - the second trip was a "give it another shot trip" after a complementary upgrade from the Marriott Group at a discounted room rate. The first time we found lady birds in the curtain lining and bees everywhere. The windows are old and not double glazed and had cracks in them. We complained and were given... more
