Impromptu dinner on a Friday night. Service is friendly and efficient. The menu is good, something for everyone. Food is of good quality, cooked fresh so not fast food. Thoroughly recommend the steak & kidney pie.

In line with what others have said, this is very basic bed and breakfast behind a pub. No frills whatsoever (not even soap). Breakfast stuff in the room. Small room with minimum sized en suite. This was a basic, clean, overnight stop. No frills but perfectly fine as long as you don't need service or a cooked breakfast. If you are just looking for a place to sleep, this is great. The accommodation is very basic but everything is clean. I had a comfy warm sleep and thats all I wanted to do. If we were in the area again and just needed a place to sleep, I would definitely come back.

I popped in here for a couple of pints with my colleagues after work. On entry if was a lovely open plan lounge with a good choice of beers. It has a lovely decked beer garden with gazebos to keep you cool. The accommodation I believe is very inviting too for the price.
