The cabins maybe simple but there is hot water and clean linen, the food is also very simple with no choice but it is fine - the rest is all about the wildlife. Your room has no aircon but there is a fan the only toiletries supplied is foam soap in a dispenser so take your own shampoos etc. it... More

This was our landing spot for two nights during our adventure in wild Borneo. The slow, scenic cruises along the rivers and small tributaries were some of my favorite experiences of the trip. You really feel like you are immersed in nature and the natural rhythms of the wildlife in the area. This lodge has rustic, local charm and the... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights on our honeymoon and were so glad we did. We did lots of private river cruises to see the wildlife and saw many varieties of monkeys and birds as well as a couple of croc's heads. The night trip to see sleeping birds and the fire flies tree was a real highlight... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms and food are very basic, however this is what we were expecting and we went there for the wildlife spotting and were not disappointed. Our amazing guide Erdy had such a wide range of knowledge about the wildlife, flora and fauna and basically everything we... More

This was a great place to stay and the rooms may have been basic but they were clean and had everything we needed. The food was good and the staff very friendly. We saw pygmy elephants on the way here which was a real highlight. We went on the evening boat trip and were lucky to see a wild orang-utan... More

We stayed 3 nights at the Lodge, and had a wonderful time. With river trips out in the morning and evening, we saw pygmy elephants, snakes, loads of wonderful birds, proboscis monkeys and on our final night an orang utan with her baby and another juvenile. A wonderful experience. Our guide from SI Tours was Bryant, who had a huge... More

Borneo has some great wildlife and this is a good place to chose to see it. The trips out at dusk and dawn were memorable. The food is very good and they were careful of my dietary needs. The cabins are basic and have everything you need. But do remember you are staying in the middle of the forest.

Just back from Borneo. Stayed in this wonderful lodge alongside the river. The staff are helpful and friendly and the food is very good. The wildlife is amazing just along the river from the lodge. We saw pygmy elephants, hornbills, eagles, 4 different species of monkeys and crocodiles, to name a few. Our guide Abbas was very knowledgeable and went... More

We kept busy seeing animals everywhere. In camp. on river, during hikes. even saw pygmy elephants. Just make sure you take cash. We did not know, so we were $5 US short when we went to pay our tab & the manager had us driven 1.5 hr to bank & we had to take a bus to next town to... More

This lodge is far more basic than many of the hotels and resorts that you may encounter in Borneo. It has a more relaxed, family run feel and lacks the over staffed effusiveness of the larger resorts. The people are also more conservative here. Our room was fairly small and the bathroom was basic, but it was comfortable and perfectly... More
