We had an unexpected offer to go to Tuli for two nights. We had high expectations. We have stayed at Mashatu (Limpopo River Lodge) and I can truly say that Mashatu is my happy place. Tuli Safari Lodge is set amongst rock cliffs just over the Botswana border from S Africa. It's quite remote but the setting is spectacular as is the lodge grounds. We pulled up to this resort in the late evening, and the magical setting was so welcoming. The service from there on did not disappoint. Great, knowledgeable *incredibly* kind staff (Our guide Abraham was about as perfect as I could want), good food and a gorgeous setting made for a stellar week on safari.
Highly reccomended.

We stayed at Tuli Lodge in 2010. What a disappointment. For the price, one would expect exceptionaly high service, but the food was poor and meagre, the whole lodge area in disrepair and the pool area dirty.
