I have to agree with the other reviews that suggest this hotel should be downgraded. We stayed here 5 years ago and time really hasn't been kind. We stayed in a sea-view room again, and the view is spectacular, but the decor was fairly shabby and the room was also dusty. There is air-con and a ceiling fan, which we... More

Sorry to say but this hotel has nothing four star about it. More like two. The rust in the water did not help, nor did the wholes all over the bedroom curtains. Overall, a weird experience. The fct it's close to the beach did help a lot though.

Awesome location, clean and friendly place. Any closer and you'd be in the water. Meals where good, breakfast buffet had heaps of options. Room big clean and tidy. Free wifi. Service good with helpful tipson how to see the island. Dining on the shore front was extremely relaxing - could have sat there all day!

Did not stay at the hotel but ate in the restaurant on the seafront. The set menu had three choices of starter and main and a selection of deserts. At 18 euros the value was superb but the quality of the food and the service was of a level I would expect at a much higher price. I would thoroughly... More

Moved into the Hotel as it had air con during a very humid 2 week breakaway as our rented apartment had none. (A discovered neccesity during the summer) The Decor is a little dated, but the staff are helpful and it's in a great location right on the bay's edge. Nice small pool on the roof, we had a valley... The friendly and supportive staff made our stay very pleasant by identifying our needs before we even mentioned anything. The vicinity to the seaside is great and breakfast is a pleasure not only because of the delicious items but accompanying that is the view of the sea and surrounding cliffs. We needed some time to relax completely from our day... More

Just returned from a great week here..and have no complaints.. Fantastic time and the hotel was great. Big airy room overlooking the sea. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. They were very experienced. Great little bathing pool and jacuzzi on roof...very peaceful. Definitely recommend.

We stayed here last year, having read the reviews here and in particular the recommendation to get the rooms with the sea view. We would not have stayed here, or in any hotel, if we had not those views. We rang up and booked for two nights, making sure that we were getting a room overlooking the sea. We got... More

Recently I have stayed in a Sea View room at the St Patrick's. The room was just OK to have somewhere to sleep. I say this because firstly the hotel in general had very dated furniture, very dated bathroom with just a curtain in bath. The room was not very well cleaned - example: bathroom window was filthy. Also, I... More

Allow us to thank you for your kind comments regarding the location of our hotel, the coolness of our rooms and the hospitality of our staff. We would like to point out that we DO in fact serve cooked breakfast to all guests who ask for it. We have chosen not to serve it on our buffet to ensure a... More

My booking confirmation e-mail described a Courtyard Room. In fact it was a dark dingy room with a window into the interior of the building which had a window at roof level, 4 floors above the room. I declined the room and was given a room facing the road for which I would be charged 15 Euro extra per day.... More

We have read the review of Ms Jan Topley with great interest and would like to make the following comments: a) The room that was booked through a popular travel site was a “twin or double room with courtyard view”. This is exactly what Ms Topley was provided with. Her room had a balcony overlooking the internal hotel courtyard. There... More
