A lovely hotel in a fabulous setting. We stayed here for three nights for a "romantic getaway in the sun" after beginning our Malta holiday at the Phoenicia in Valetta. It took us just under a couple of hours to travel from Valetta, including the fun of the ferry crossing. The hotel is spread out around a series of pools... More

Me and my wife had visited this wonderful hotel last week for 4 days in which we have experienced a wonderful stay. The hotel is situated in a very beautiful location and has very beautiful views of the Maltese islands. The rooms are very clean and we also have visited the spa, its wonderful lagoon pool and the massuse over... More

Good: Setting and outdoor pools quite nice, OK breakfast, nice outdoor area for our bungalow, many staff quite helpful Bad: Poor (dark) lightning in the bungalow - wasn't really nice to spend time indoors, jacuzzi broken and spa staff not very helpful, cocktails & buffet dinners not tempting so arranged our own. Summary: An OK place, but wouldn't go back

Was taken to via shuttle bus to there beach side restaurant, as road were shut for filming. Initial impressions looked great and the selection of starters were lovely, however 3 of us ordered seafood platter which was very very salty, nothing to acompany it like a dip or salad. We did request if there was any mayonaise to be told... More

This is a hotel that prides to be a five stars one, but the real experience ends up being far from this. The place is lovely, with very pleasant location and layout of the rooms, pool, etc. It is also far from the sea. If you want to rely on the not very efficient Hotel's minibus going there, you will... More

We stayed here for a week in August, and loved every minute. The rooms are individual 'bungalow' style villas with there own patio complete with chairs and table. They are adequately furnished, although I feel the bathrooms need a bit of care and attention. The fixtures seem slightly dated, and although everything worked fine, did stick out a bit compared... My Husband wanted to take me out somewhere special one evening and we though of Ta Cenc Hotel. We arrived at the hotel and decided to have a meal in the restaurant. It is a lovely setting and we were shown to our table. A waiter came over and handed the menus to us, we ordered our drinks and then... More

This was our first visit to ta cenc, and a word to describe the hotel would be 'different' in a very good way. The rooms look like bungalows from the outside and our lovely from the inside! The pools are amazing with one specifically for adults. The gardens around the hotel make the stay more relaxing and peacful. Moreover all the... More

3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2014

The hotel consists of a series of roomy bungalows, surrounded by wonderful gardens. The pools and spa are beautiful and the private beach is breathtaking. That alone makes it worth staying at the Ta'Cenc. It clearly was in the 70's an amazing luxury resort and has retained a good deal of its glory, though recent refurbishment have obviously not been...
