We are just back from a pleasant week long stay at the maritim. Our room, 256, was lovely and overlooked the downstairs pool area. Both me and my boyfriend were impressed with the size and comfort of the bed and the aircon (as previous reviews have highlighted this as a problem). Both the downstairs and rooftop pools are great, although... More

The hotel is trying hard to maintain the 4* quality, staff is polite, it's clean, offers many possibilities (pool, gym, restaurants and bars) and I am sure it was fine back in the days. However today seem a bit worn out already and could use some renovation. The most annoying thing was practically non-existing WiFi. Nowhere in the hotel was... More

We booked the hotel after reading reviews on various sites. We knew it was not in the (party) centre of Malta and we didn't regret that part at all. The entrance is nice, luxurious and comfortable. Service was good, patient and helpfull. Our room was ready before the actual check-in time which was nice. After exploring the way to our... More

Nice hotel but beware - best rooms are in the main block - not through the tunnel - were allocated room 308 in arrival - view from the window non existent- eventually (asked 5 times) were moved to room 627 (in main hotel) view was much better and the room was so much larger and brighter - see photos -... It was very far to get there from the airport. I tried to get there by public transport (bus) and wanted to get information # of bus and name of bus stop. I sent e-mail address which is listed in the hotel official website twice, but no reply. No detailed info. in the web site, too. It was time-up, and... More

Ups - Bus stops immediately outside the hotel offering a reasonably reliable, albeit crowded services. - Rooftop pool and bar which we found to be quite relaxing after a busy day - Small handful of the staff very helpful and have a faint hint of a positive attitude. -The restaurant is within short walking distance of some really great restaurants,... Just returned from a week here and must admit we thought it was a fine hotel. If you could lift it up and drop it in the centre of Buggiba we would stay here again without a doubt but Mellieha just isn't busy enough for us. Rooms were good (TV channels a bit limited) and we had everything we want... More

The hotel is nice but in need of improvement. I never encountered any serious problems with the staff or the hotel in general but it's blatantly obvious that the hotel needs updating and maybe there are issues with the staff/management as they didn't seem happy in their work. The general impression is not that of a 4 star hotel, especially... More

We rented room 640 a "penthouse" suite at an eye watering €350 per night. This room is totally overlooked by the roof top restaurant so even though the terrace is big with really good view, one cannot sunbathe as everyone in the restaurant is looking down at you. The apartment, as I will call it is really tired in terms... More

Not a bad hotel, decent location (if you have a car), good view from the rooftop pool/restaurant. Accommodation a little bit pricey though drinks very reasonable. Room was ok (cheap furnishings, tiled floor etc). A couple of things let it down - (1) the car park is an absolute nightmare unless your car is tiny (smart car-size), (2) outdoor pools... More
