This is a good overhaul hotel. In a great location. All have sea views. But some better than others. So pick the right floor and block is a good idea. I would not have a ground floor unless you need to be on a level. The bus service in Malta is great. Buses all the time. Summer maybe too busy.... More

Just returned from a week's stay at this very welcoming Hotel, and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant was nicely located and the food was good. The Hotel was in an enviable position for walking, as there were nice coastline paths. The weather during my stay was, on the whole very nice and warm with occasional showers. The bus... More

Just returned from a two week stay. The rooms and parts of the Hotel are rather tired, it is beginning to be refurbished. The lady that cleaned our room B35, was great. Kept our room and bathroom clean and very comfortable for our stay. Tea and Coffee making facilities, free use of a safe, free unlimited Wi-fi. Dining Room staff... More

Have just returned from a wonderful holiday at this hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming and with three teenagers there was plenty to do even out of season with an indoor pool, table tennis, beautiful gardens overlooking the bay, as well as a bus stop within 5 minutes of the hotel providing a very cheap way of getting around... We booked this holiday about 3 weeks before we went and the cost was too good to pass. All the previous reviews were good so we booked. We went with First Choice All Inclusive. All I can say is we weren't disappointed. The welcome, Staff, Food and room was faultless. Although in need of an upgrade the Hotel has started... More

But as i got such a great deal with first choice i wasn't that upset. i would stay again . Nice place to stay as a... More

Having just returned from a very expensive and very inferior cruise over Christmas on a Celebrity ship around South America, we spotted a two week winter break with Thomas Cook at this hotel. The contrast with a holiday costing exactly '5 times' the price was very dramatic. The Mellieha Bay is a superb well run establishment with superior food and... More

Having booked this hotel ourselves on recommendation,we were a bit surprised that it is undergoing a renovation on 3 of the blocks. but saying that it has to be done some time and did not make the slightest bit of difference to us,we had originally booked on a B&B basis but upgraded to a AI as not many local places... It was a weekday break in February, and as expected, the Hotel, having few residents, had a relaxed atmosphere. The room, even though not very spacious, had a comfortable balcony with unobstructed sea views, ideal for having a coffee in the morning breeze. The pool area is also surrounded by a large garden, ideal for a relaxing walk, with access... More
