Just returned after a wonderful week. Great food and service. Hotel is out of way but not a problem with the exceptional public transport system. Went half board and bought beer locally but drank hotel wine at 5 Euros a litre, perfectly potable! Fridge in room. Would give 5 stars but agree that walls a bit thin, although our neighbours... The hotel is at the end of the large bay in a great quiet spot with all rooms having a sea view. The food is excellent with great choice. There is an indoor and outdoor pools. The staff are very friendly in the bars or restaurant, and the rooms are spotless. This hotel will not be appreciated if you are... More

Just returned from Mellieha Bay Hotel after a wonderful week's break good hotel excellent location great weather and wonderful food. Nice company with many customers who visit in March and November and this may become a trend for us. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Paid £300pp for one week half board here. Considering that the hotel probably only gets 25-30% of this I think the value is very good. The location itself is beautiful. All rooms have a sea view with small balcony or terrace which looks out over the bay. Rooms are fine, comfortable enough and clean. Only drawback we found was that... More

Stayed here for a week on Malta with a large group! This hotel is situated at the Northern end of the island which is not the best location albeit looking onto a bay which like most of the island is covered with shoe box developments which spoil the coastline which is the only redeeming feature on this island. The hotel... More

Have been several times to this hotel and it never fails to please. Currently under refurbishment (Feb2014) and the workers tend to start early, so some noise, and some of the facilities are not really available. The rooms are pretty standard, all are sea facing, so money spent on upgrading to a sea view with Thomson is a bit of... More

We stayed for a week in Jan 15, had a lovely ground floor room opening on to the gardens. The maid on our floor went out of her way to make sure everything was spotless, although we did not request we had clean towels everyday. One bonus for me, they have put tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms now, milk... More

I prefer to say little but have the words loaded with meaning so - Malta is a fast stoically beautiful island with a history and culture that keeps you entrenched in finding out more ... The hotel (however) - the thomsons rep was helpful, pleasant, caring and professional ... the same cannot be said for the management - unpleasant, discourteous,... More

If you wish to stay on the north side of Malta this is the place to go . It is being refurbished in stages at the moment so can only get better. All the rooms face the sun with a sea view. The food is excellent and varied
