The four of us were renting a villa on the same road in this idyllic quiet location at the beginning of March. We hoped for a restaurant In Arona for some evenings but they were closed. On a walk we saw this beautiful rustic hotel and I went in to ask if it was possible to eat there. The delightful... More

This is a lovely old farmhouse set amongst almond trees with fantastic views from its elevated position out to sea. There are walking trails starting nearby. The rooms are delightful and spotlessly clean and there is an attractive swimming pool. We weren't impressed with the evening meal and thought it overpriced at 20 euros. Unfortunately there are no restaurants nearby... More

We last stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and are returning again next week. Situated half way up a mountain the views are very good. A very quiet and peaceful place to stay far away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. A great place to stay. I was a little reluctant to place a review... More

Have been meaning to post a review about this for some time...... We stayed here in Sept 2011 for my wife's birthday, I had been looking for a budget stay on the island, and after reading the early review about this place I was a little hesitant about the booking. I am glad to say that my fears were never... More

This is a really nice peaceful small Casa Rural, in the hills (up a steep hill from Arona town, but well worth it!). Run by a delightful and helpful couple, serving excellent breakfasts, and good quality evening meals (or lunch) available at reasonable prices. Good sized and comfortable rooms, and a pleasant swimming pool in landscaped gardens, with great views... More

This hotel is now under new ownership since May 2010. The new owners are a Spanish couple that live on site. We wife and I stayed there for 5 nights while touring around the canary Islands and found it to be a little jem. We wanted a quite few days and this is easy the hotel is way off the... More

We booked the Ecohotel because it looked fantastic (and very much our kind of place) on the website; how wrong we were. Issues were: 1) "Warm beaches at your feet" - actually, the Ecohotel is up a tiny, windy, and very steep hill from Arona, which I would guess is 10k+ from the nearest beach. Not a journey you want... We both really enjoyed our stay at La Correa - we were attracted to it by both it's location and principles (recycling, low energy light bulbs, etc). We stayed in the suites, which are located just across the road from the main hotel and pool. The breakfasts were very good - a wide range of choice. If you want to... More

If you want a hotel that is really off the beaten track then this may be the place for you but, read the following first. The hotel is not situated in the town of Arona but is halfway up the old Donkey Track from Arona to Escalona. The track, which is not marked on most maps, is an extremely steep... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Rural La Correa de Almendro was built on 11,000sqm of land in 1720 and is a prime example of typical Canarian architecture from the region of Chasna. La Correa opened in 2002 as a hotel and is located in the landscape of Altavista in the middle of an area of natural beauty in the municipality of Arona. We invite you to come and see the magnificent views of the coast and mountains for yourself, there are many walking trails and roads as well as a take off base for Paragliding for those who are looking for a more active holiday. You will wake up every day at the gates of the impressive World Heritage Teide National Park, and you are only 15 minutes away from warm beaches, golf courses and parks such as Siam Park and Jungle Park. The hotel has 6 double rooms in a rustic style with welcoming decoration, all equipped with ensuite bathroom, satellite TV, heating and impressive views. In the common areas you can enjoy a dining room for your breakfast, lunch and dinner, a wooden porch for afternoon chill out drinks and a swimming pool with lush gardens for walking. ... more   less
