This is a good hotel. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The food is good and varied and the restaurant staff work very quickly and efficiently. However during our stay the half board guests gradually became outnumbered by all inclusive guests. At the beginning of our second week there was an influx of all inclusive families, many with... this was our tenth visit and hotel needs freshening up.There seems to be a shift to all inclusive and as such the service has slipped in the piano bar with just one waiter in the evenings. It used to be 99% couples but now it is mainly families with little children..no problem with children but it's not as relaxing these days... Just returned from a 2 week holiday in this lovely hotel. The reception staff were efficient and friendly, as were the restaurant staff and the food was excellent. We sometimes had to queue at busy times but the wait was worth it. The rooms are cleaned and towels changed daily by cheerful staff.Entertainment was suitable for the many families present... More

My husband and I have returned after a week at the Maspalomas Princess Hotel. The hotel is stunning and our room was lovely and spacious overlooking one of the 4 pools. We had room 1057 on the 1st floor, when we were allocated our room we were a bit apprehensive having read previous reviews about views from rooms on the... More

Reception fast and efficient. One enters into a vast marble faced space with super flowing plant displays modern fast lifts up either side and a view of palms etc., through the rear. We did change rooms on checking in as my friend had read other reports on Trip Advisor and this proved the right thing to do. Reasons so many... More

I have recently returned from a week's holiday in the Maspalomas Princess and loved it. We upgraded to a deluxe double room which had amazing pool views, a huge bed, and a nice large balcony with decent chairs and sun loungers. The pool was always packed but on the few occasions we used the pools we had no problem getting... More

We booked this "Platinum "hotel with a Thomson holiday package including flights from London Stansted. The hotel is only 3 floors high with a dining room downstairs. The grounds include 4 pools and are well kept and there are lots of Palm trees. The public areas both inside and out are clean and well maintained. The hotel is situated inland... More

Just returned from a week at this hotel. On the whole it was lovely and the weather was in the high 20's all the time. The hotel is half board and the food at breakfast and in the evening was varied and plentiful. The only downside was you had to pay extra for drinks (even water) at mealtimes and also... More

Needs updating badly. Breakfast and dinner was like a cattle market or feeding time at the zoo. As for the pool most of the sun beds were taken unless you wanted to sit in the shade. Been to better hotels for a lot less money.

We tend to visit this hotel and resort in October to stock up on sun before winter. The complex is shared by two hotels - a mirror version of each other. The Tabiba Princess is full board and the Maspalomas Princess half board - which we prefer. The food is good and varied with a good choice at breakfast and... More
