Reviews are very subjective and personal because we all have different tastes and requirements and come from different cultures and backgrounds. I have stayed at the Maspalomas Princess (MP) 4 times in 12 years and will try and review it openly. There are some very expensive 5 star hotels within walking distance and it would be wrong to compare them... More

We did have a good holiday in spite of some features which fell well below the standards we expected. The hotel food was very good and most of the accommodation was clean. It certainly looked impressive as we approached the reception desk. The buildings and the gardens / pools area are excellent and very large. Now for the bad news..... More

Just got back from a week at the Maspalomas Princess. Although this is a very nice hotel there were small details that would have made it better. We had room 0138 on the ground floor. The room was clean and tidy, there was a sofa bed which was made of synthetic leather which was very sticky to sit on in... More

Myself and my partner needed a week away to recharge our batteries, and this hotel certainly did the job! Superb facilities, service and food was excellent. We have never revisited any hotel. ..but this one may well tempt us back.

We have just returned after another fantastic 2 week stay at this hotel. (Stayed 13-28 Sept 2014). Despite landing in the early hours of the morning, we were warmly greeted and very quickly allocated our room. This time we stayed in Room 2085 with a balcony, overlooking the childrens pool area. We have previously stayed in rooms 1082 & 1089... More

Impressive looking hotel but looks can be deceptive. Food not to our taste. Staff efficient rather than friendly. Hotel out of the way and not a great deal going on. Paying extra for poor wifi, fridge and safe went against the grain. Upgraded to a junior suite which was ok. Definitely not a four or five star in my book.

We stayed at this hotel early September for 7 nights. First impressions great hotel and reception hall with a wow factor, helpful reception staff when we arrived in the early hours of the morning (feeling very weary), Super clean room on the first floor with a generous bathroom. Sizeable terrace with great views of external pools/artificial beach areas. External areas... More

We recently spent a week at this smart and comfortable hotel for our 30th wedding anniversary. We had a lovely room, and we liked the meals. The breakfasts were really good with Champagne on the Sunday which was a real treat. We liked the pools though the artificial beach was a bit gritty. There was some good evening entertainment, in...
