I am currently staying at the Maspalomas Princess hotel with my boyfriend (aged 26/27). We last visited the hotel around 6 years ago and decided to rebook for a week of sunshine! The hotel is clean and traditional, the rooms are comfortable and we have a lovely view of the swimming pool (emailed the hotel prior to arrival to request... More

Room temperature 35C, AC did not work, 8 days later with continuous operation it dropped to 29C. This was in March 15, what happens in May \ June. Constant queues for breakfast and dinner to get in, no saucers for cups at breakfast, coffee machines constantly breaking down, coffee tasted somewhere between dish water and coco. Booked via Thomsons, supposed... More

We hadn't been abroad for 21yrs so it was important to get this holiday right. I used trip advisor & google maps to get my info on the hotel and area. The previous reviews swayed me to book. We were not disappointed. The hotel was amazing, spotlessly clean. Friendly, attentive, well organised staff. The food was fab something for everyone.... More

We stayed at the maspalomas princess hotel in Gran Canaria. Hotel rooms very big and very clean. Nice shower. fridge in room. Deposit safety box in room which I think should be complimentary but you need to pay for this. Also any wi fi which you can only access in reception area has to be paid for on a daily... More

This is a huge hotel which is linked to the Tabaiba Princess Hotel next door and they share all the same facilities. Good points are;- spotlessly clean, friendly staff, beautiful grounds, large comfortable rooms, drinks not expensive. Bad points:- lots of children, limited bars in the evening if you are not all inclusive, buffet meals a bit chaotic particularly breakfast... More

We have been here 4 times and love the place. The staff are so nice & friendly and all exude old fashioned friendliness and charm which we love. It helps that the hotel is always spotlessly clean everywhere. It's a very pretty spot with the town in easy walking distance. There is a little shop behind the hotel which you... More

Just returned from a week at the Princess. Before arrival I emailed to ask if we could have a room with a balcony in the sun. I never received a reply. I found the reception staff very cold both on arrival and departure. Our room wasn't ready, so we asked if we could leave our luggage somewhere and were directed... More

Hotel is very impressive on arrival, the rooms are basic but clean. TV service is limited. Restaurant and other areas are good, but could do with a bit of TLC. The evening entertainment is ok. It is quite isolated, There is nothing to see around the area. Wifi is quite expensive However a taxi ride (4 Euros) into Melonares is... More

Only booked two weeks ago and got a very good price thanks to Travel Agent. Seven days of sun and 22-25 degree helps . No real complaints , food good , room with terrace and small west facing garden ideal , plenty of sun beds , close to beach etc. even entertainment better than expected. Only minor moan is having... 3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2015

Stayed here for a week in February 2015, two adults, one 20 year old and a girl aged 10. The hotel itself was lovely, many pools and more than enough sunbeds. The food was nice, and so was the entertainment, you could choose between four different entertainment places every night, and you were comfortably seated while watching the shows. But,... More
