I stayed in Parque Nogal from the 26th of February to the 5th of March. To be honest it wasn’t my first choice of places to stay, but after phoning the place where I usually stay and finding out that they were fully booked I wasn’t left with much choice! Parque Nogal is a stones throw from where I usually stay, and when I say “a stones throw” I literally mean it! So I knew the location very well before I even arrived! I actually arrived a day late due to missing my flight, which was my own fault, so I contacted the complex to let them know that I did still require the room and that I was going to be a day late, and this was fine with them. Very helpful! When I arrived I checked in, the chap at reception was very friendly and the appearance of the reception area was beautiful, and also very clean! The apartment was also very clean, and a nice layout, the same as what I am used to when I stay at my usual place to be honest, bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and a living room/kitchen combined downstairs. Although this was better because as well as having a front and rear garden it also had an upper balcony with table and chairs! I always pay for the use of the room safe when I go anywhere, so I went to reception to get the key and the chap on the desk gave me a bottle of wine after noticing that it was my birthday, which I thought was very kind of him to notice because I didn’t even have to make him aware, he must have noticed it when he took a copy of my passport! I didn’t use any of the facilities at the complex, because I was alone I am usually out most of the day and during the evening, but I could see other people using the facilities and they all appeared to be happy and enjoying themselves. I did get back late most nights and had to be let in by a night porter, which is good for a sense of security! My stay here was very nice, the apartment was always clean, and I definitely would stay again! It’s in a very good location, with a spar shop just on the opposite side of the roundabout and another small shop just around the corner! The beach is a couple of miles away, but there is a free shuttle bus provided, although I prefer to walk! The bars and restaurants at play de ingles also are quite a reasonable walking distance, but taxi’s are always readily available and are very very cheap! There is an on-site restaurant, but I never used it, and there is a microwave and induction hob, also a kettle provided in the apartment! Definitely good value for money, and like I said, I would definitely recommend Parque Nogal, and I would stay here again!…
