“Not charming, basic facilities, but nothing more - rather expensive for what you get”

We stayed two nights on this campsite and slept in our Volkswagen-van. The price was rather high compared to the comfort you get. We knew the cabins would be one step up from camping, and at the price, would not have expected anything more, but they were perfectly adequate for us, and the facilities were clean and conveniently placed. My only criticism was the mattress was very hard, will use a thin foam roll under next time. Hot showers, plenty of washing up... More

“Fleas in mattress, security issues? Location beside nice lake”

There are fleas in the mattresses. Once our cabin was broken into but nothing was lost as we took our valuables with us (but it could happen at any campsite). It is a bit out of the way. But otherwise, it is a nice place as it's beside a nice lake, and it has cooking facilities in the cabin.

“Cheap accommodation on edge of Stockholm, but avoid budget cabins”

We stayed here, in a hut (or cabin if you prefer), in September 2008 for a budget holiday in Stockholm without a car. It worked out well after a disastrous start - their smaller huts really were more like garden sheds - a single tiny window, very cramped and depressing.
