Me and my boyfriend are just back from a lovely 10 night stay at the Casablanca hotel. We are in our 20's and had a great time (so you dont have to be a pensioner to go unlike one comment said). Yes it is quiet and there are mainly older people there however what a dream it was not having... more

The casablanca inn is one of the friendliest hotels we have ever stayed in. Monte gordo is a beautiful place, lots to see and lots of places to visit from there. There are lquite a range of restaurants and bars and reception and bar staff we always happy to recommend somewhere to go. The receptionist saved us money by booking... more

Very dissapointed in the Casablanca Hotel, definately NOT a 4 star, we had just 3 days there in nov , food very bland & had to wait ages for it to come, one time had to wait 20 mins for the menu ! As to the room, the lighting was so poor one had a job to read & both... more

We recently returned from 10 days bed and breakfast at the Casablanca Inn. If you are up to 65 years old and quite fit - do not stay at this hotel. It was full of very elderly pensioners, it was like staying in an "Old Folks Home". The breakfast was OK - you can't spoil bacon & eggs. We stayed... more

We are just back after spending a week in this hotel. On first impressions it is certainly not a 4 star hotel ,more a 2 star I think. We were on B and B terms, just as well as the food is not good ,the breakfast was rather bland but edible all the same. We felt the hotel was rather tired... more

We took our daughter for a quiet and relaxing week in the Sun and that's what we got and very nice it was too! But, when we arrived we were informed that our room was not ready, so we had to take a walk for a while. No offer of a cool drink, after our travels. The receptionist appeared to... more

The casablanca Inn was clean, tidy and efficient. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. It is the nicest looking hotel in monte gordo- quite small with a bit of character. We stayed B and B and quite enjoyed fresh bread, jam, cereal and a cooked breakfast of choice if wanted. The staff were attentive- especially in the... more

Stayed for 2 weeks half board. This is a small hotel with a little pool, not really much entertainment. The staff were really nice and tried to be as helpful as possible. Unfortunately the food is not so good!! If you are staying on a half board basis and you like soup and fish you are ok, if not then... more

Have just returned from a fortnight at the Casablanca Inn. We booked through Thomas Cook and found the brochure description and the pictures were very accurate although we are not sure the 4* rating was correct. The hotel is situated in a central location with easy access to Spain via the ferry. The hotel was clean and the rooms were... more

This is definately not a 4 star hotel. It was clean and friendly, and the room was ok, but it was all tiled and wooden, and I assume all the rooms were so, as it was quite noisy due to the echoing of voices and footsteps. The plumbing also was noisy, and you certainly knew when your neighbour used the bathroom!.We were... more
