Lakselv Hotel is some years of age, but quite well kept. The rooms have quite good standard, bathroom is ok and my bed was excellent. I am one of those who don't prefer dispenser soap, but I can live with it. Breakfast was good with "homemade" scrambled eggs, and the lunch buffet offered quality smoked salmon, which seems to be... Sitting on a little hill overlooking the town of Lakselv, this hotels offers everything needed for a short stay: Spacious room with modern furniture, large bathroom, substantial breakfast buffet with a view over the town towards mountain and sea - as well as the right distance for a day trip to the Nordkapp on a picturesque route.

Stayed at this hotel in the beginning of September 2012. At arrival the lady in the reception hardly knew how to activate keys and book me into a room. The check in took about 20 minutes, and was not very impressive. The room was big, but sterile and "cold". Only one soap dispenser in the bathroom, and it was not... More

We arrived around 13:30 hour on an monday in June, the boss and the sweet girl from the reception told us there will be a buffet around 19:00 hour. The sweet girl, it must be the same from the message Onrust wrote on 13 september 2011, maid us a microwave diner, what a shame. For the rest: the rooms are... More

We would consider this hotel as a bit basic, however, everything was clean and the staff friendly. The keys didn't work in the whole hotel. Therefore we always had to look for the receptionist to open up our room, which was rather annoying. Don't expect too much of your room, but it will do. The breakfast was pretty good.

Arrived at half pas nine in the evening, the restaurant just closed. But that was an opportinuty to see if they would go for the extra mile. They did. The receptionist - loverly girl - fixed a dinner herself, including dessert. So sweet. The rest also okay, nice. Quietly situated in the woods, just outside the town centre. Not a... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night. We arrived around 10pm but managed to get an available room, fortunately. The reception area was poorly lit and small, but when we got into the room, we were pleasantly surprised. It was furnished like a five-star hotel room with a king-sized bed, throw pillows, wide cushy armchair and a widescreen... More
