Stayed here during a road trip through the fjords of Western Norway. Very comfortable and convenient hotel to stop for a couple of days. The hotel and its rooms have a rustic, cozy style. The rooms themselves were on the smaller side. We had a triple and like previous reviewers mentioned, the third bed was very narrow. Some of the... More

We decided to stay here on the spur of the moment for one night and were not disappointed. We had a room with lake views on the second floor. Nice little balcony to sit and enjoy a beer and the view. Very clean and well appointed rooms with good sized bathroom. Staff were very friendly and professional. This hotel is... More

We stayed one night middle October in a triple room. The hotel is very beautiful and has amazing views of the town and fjord from the rooms. Our room was clean and cozy but the extra bed was very very narrow. Very uncomfortable even if you're small. My two year old son normally sleeps in an individual bed at home but... More

We arrived in Flam on the fjord boat cruise and spent one night. Our room was clean and comfortable. I was a bit worried about whether the room would be warm enough since there was no way to control the temperature in the room. But it was just fine. Our room looked out to the fjord so we had a... We stayed off-season so didn't have any problems with cruise ships parking outside our window! The staff here are amazing - very helpful and friendly, recommending things to do in the area. We only stayed 2 nights but could've stayed a third to finish looking round Flam. We had a lovely corner room with views and a balcony. Beds are... More

Great location, and helpful staff. The hotel is a little on the basic side though perfectly fine for a night or two. The breakfast is pretty basic too, not much selection. The train station is a 5 minute walk. The attached restaurant is a little gimmicky on the viking theme for the dinner and I didn't feel it was a good... More

Nice little hotel with pretty views. Comfortable beds, nice people. The breakfast was pretty decent. It was definitely off-season so very quiet, but I imagine during high season you'd hear everything in surrounding rooms (currently can only hear cows mooing in the distance, which is pretty awesome). Overall, no complaints.

This place was extremely overpriced for the little it had to offer! Our room was very very basic and had no AC. We had 2 single beds put next to each other with separate sheets and blankets but the receptionist kept arguing it was a king sized bed room. This same receptionist was in a horrible mood everytime we saw... More

The hotel was comfortable and the rooms were a decent size. However, given that it was the off season and that the hotel was far from fully occupied, we would have expected the prices to be a bit lower. The overall facilities do not really justify the price other than in the peak season.

Stayed at this beautiful hotel attached to a fantastic Pub next to the jetty in the harbour. Expensive but worth to the last penny. Nice decor and clean rooms. Errie is the word to explain this place without tourists today the first Oct 2014. Season ended yesterday. Lucky we could do Fjord Safari in a fast boat with adrenalin pumping... More
