My family of five stayed here on our trip through the Loire Valley and Normandy. The hotel is simple, but has great charm. Our rooms looked out over the river and the hotel's small garden. It's about a fifteen minute drive to Mont St. Michel and we were so happy we booked here rather than one of the hotels on... More

Loved the room overlooking the stream. After using the free parking, we were welcomed by Patricia who was most helpful and friendly during our five days there.Ducey is a very convenient location for visiting not only Mont Ste. Michel, but also the coast of Normandy. We visited the various beaches used in WW2 but also little coastal towns to eat... More

A basic hotel and not a bad location in which to visit the region. Bed very comfy and clean. Room a little on the small side and in the summer very hot and stuffy, would benefit from aircon. TV sound button is restricted so couldn't turn it up and couldn't hear it so was a waste of space.

There is nothing extraordinary about this hotel, on the other hand it´s quite simple. But it is clean, the room has a bed and a bathroom, and that´s what I need when spending just one night on a road trip. The wifi did´d work in the hotel room, but was good in receptions area. The receptionst was very nice (and she... More

As we were checking in, we were told that our room had been upgraded to a view of the stream. It was a beautiful view. This hotel allows dogs. Without the view, I would probably give it a 3. It is an easy drive to Mont Saint Michel from here.

Having seen this hotel at a distance from the main road a number of times, we finally got the opportunity to spend a night there. We were not disappointed. A good welcome, large and comfortable room, quality breakfast and a fine location. This quiet village is a pleasing contrast to the hustle and bustle of Le Mont St. Michel but... More

Only 15 minutes from Domaine Du Coquerel, one of the best Calvados producers in France, this is a great little hotel, the hotel staff, Patricia in particular, was very helpful and has a secret key for access to the island. To explore the local area electric bikes can be hired at the hotel. When I drive to Normandy/Brittany next I... More

This was very close to Mont St. Michelle (assuming you are traveling by car) and much nicer than the budget options at the Mont. Our hotel room was very comfortable, the bathroom was large, the Wifi worked well, our window looked out over the rushing mill stream - pretty and a nice sound to sleep by. We appreciated the ease... It is on the edge of town and easy to locate. The building was a watermill at one time but has been completely redone into a relatively modern hotel. Parking was free and just across the street. The staff was excellent. The room was clean and efficient. Breakfast was good and filling. Mont St. Michel was very close. As we... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This former, old mill, now a hotel, enjoys an unspoiled and relaxing place beside the Sélune, the small river that flows into the bay of Mont Saint Michel. Just 20 minutes from the Abbey of Mont Saint Michel, Ducey is a "village stopover" rich in history and typical of Normandy. Most rooms offer views of the river. They have quality equipment as well as a minibar, courtesy tray with kettle, wireless broadband connection, a flat-screen TV offering over 30 channels in several languages as well. The hotel has a breakfast room with a breathtaking and relaxing view of the waterfall and the old bridge. A relaxation lounge allows you, among other things, to sample local specialties. You will have the opportunity, if you wish, to order meal trays and enjoy local drinks. We will have the greatest pleasure to advise you on visits and local restaurants. ... more   less
