Stayed en route to mont st michel. All other hotels in Avranches were "complet". So we came to this little village instead. The room is fine and suites the old building. But the best part was the restaurant. It stands up to the standards in Copenhagen (if you avoid the turist sites). Absolutely a very positive experience.

Thank you for your comment. We are pleased that you had pleasure in our hotel-restaurant thanks to a coincidence. And do not forget to book your hotel in August when you come near Mont-Sain-Michel because all is always full all around it. More

As an American, I know nothing about French hotels, but I do know that this is a wonderful one. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner, who was very friendly. He personally showed us to our rooms and asked us about dinner reservations. We had two rooms on the street side. I thought the rooms were very nicely... More

We were staying elsewhere in Ducey but were recommended La Selune as a place to eat. Wow! All I can say is the food was of superb quality, and we have eaten in more than one Michelin restaurant. What was most surprising was the price - a Michelin standard meal and aperitifs/wine for less than £100 and we did not... More

We stayed just one night at this comfortable and friendly hotel in the pretty town overlooking the river on one side but the main road on the other. Luckily we had rooms overlooking the garden and river which was just as well as I heard other visitors mentioning how noisy the road was beneath their rooms. Our rooms were really... More

We night-stopped here en route to Cherbourg. Good dinner. Charming attentive service. Comfortable rooms tastefully decorated. Excellent breakfast. A quiet setting in the village on the bank of La Selune. A very agreeable stay. Will certainly return if passing this way again.

This Logis Hotel proved to be a most relaxing and pleasant stopover on our journey back to England from the Lot region. It is indeed just as nearly everyone has already remarked. The accommodation is faultless with great attention to detail and comfort. The setting is relaxing and quiet. The meals top class; the service excellent.

All the positive reviews are correct, the owners are delightful, the rooms quiet and comfortable and the dinner was excellent. A refreshing change from the standard fayre you get with the national chains. Well worth a visit and I will book again on my next visit to Ducey.

We selected Auberge De La Selune for a 2 night stay during our recent holiday in Northern France because it was an easy 15 mile drive to Mont Saint-Michel. This allowed us 2 visits, one in the early morning after breakfast and the other in late evening after dinner, with both missing the busiest part of the day. We made... More

The owners are very welcoming and speak excellent English and all the staff very friendly. Food superb. Gardens quiet an peaceful. In a lovely... More

The hotel owners are very welcoming and the rooms of a good standard. Evening dinner is excellent and well worth having. The location if off the main road and backing on to the river and so is very quiet.
