Centrally located in the magical town of Bormes, the hotel has a lot of charme and the staff is great. We had a perfect welcome and everyone was smiling and available during our stay. Parking is free of charge and the position allows for wandering around the town without any problem. Recommended!

Hotel is in a great location in Bormes mes Mimoses. Walking distance to all the historical sites. Hotel rooms are comfortable and spacious. Bathroom has a very strange llayout and the bathtub does not have a cabin or separation, so everything e you take a shower the water splashes everywhere. Wifi quality is bad in the Rooms. For the price... More

Truly pleasant hotel indeed. Quiet and clean. Very typical, enjoyed the room on the backside of the hotel and the way this hotel is clung to the hill. Excellent place to go, right in the center of Bormes les Mimosas.

We spent two nights at the Hostellerie du Cigalou and enjoyed the quiet and spacious room and the nearly private swimming pool. After driving through a solid day of rain imagine the delight in waking up to sunshine and a nice breakfast buffet of cheeses, cured meats, and fresh fruits. The room was very clean and the staff made sure... More

Note: We live in central London so noise is never a problem for us! It's a great location with nice restaurants around (try La Terrace next door which is quite romantic!) The hotel room we had (13!) has its own really nice little terrace beside the room which may be a sun trap at a point in the day but... More

We needed a hotel in the area during one of the busiest weekends of the year and Hostellerie du Cigalou was the only available place... so I found it clean enough (except the toilet wasn't even near spotless), very friendly welcome and the room was a good size and looked out onto a pretty square. The hotel is 3* and... More

We stayed here one night in June. The hotel has great potential, seems to be a little run down though, with small details not taken care of. First room we got was without balcony and they forgot to put towels. But they were willing to provide us another very nice spacy room with balcony - we got a special deal... More

We paid 80 euros per night for this hotel in early October. This is cheap for the South of France. So we were not expecting much and I suppose for the price it was reasonable. Our room was spacious enough with a little terrace overlooking the square. What was good was despite the terrible decor, the cafe Progres below serves... More

The hotel was in a great location in a really beautiful hilltop village. We stayed in November so most of the town was shut down but the restaurant in the hotel (Cafe Progres) was still open and we had a wonderful dinner and lunch there. The food and service was excellent. The hotel was very pretty and had a lovely... More

Rack rate for my room at the end of October 2011 was almost 250 Euros. This is the South of France and the hotel is in the middle of a charming and touristy village, but the quality of what is actually on offer still just does not stack up. The rooms are spartan and dark, the advertised wifi does not... More
