If you're in the area of Bormes, Le Lavendou or La Londe and want a lovely lunch in a fabulous setting then you'll struggle to beat Le Grand Hotel in Bormes le Mimosa. We were a party of six and had the meat & cheese food platters ( 2 x meat & 1 x cheese) together with a couple of... More

We stayed here recently for a night. The views from the hotel are absolutely outstanding!!!! Excellent location on a hilltop overlooking the town. Only a 5-10 min walk from restuarents. The hotel itself is quite old and maybe a little faded but that adds to the charm. We were in room 217 which is a great room as has dual... More

At the very top of Bormes Village is this gem of a Hotel. The view is breathtaking and sitting on the large Terrace with a gentle breeze, company and a glass of chilled Rose, is one of life's great pleasures. The Hotel has an elegant calm about it which is difficult to put into words. We had a lovely room... More

The style may be a little faded, and the amenities rather basic, but the wonderful sea views from every bedroom, and the fantastic location perched above the truly beautiful village of Bormes, more than justify the title Grand Hotel. The rooms are spacious, and the staff very helpful. It's a friendly, family-run hotel, and that adds to its charm. I've... More

This place was Ok to stay in. The location is top notch with unreal views. The problem was our room. I thought our room would was an antique filled room but when checking in, they told me we were in some modern room which was much better. After being in our room, I don’t see how we got the better... We had the interconnecting rooms which were a good size and very comfortable. The views are truly amazing from the balcony and from where we ate breakfast. We have been to the area seven times as we love the beaches, the food and the ambience of this part of France. Bormes village is great it has a huge selection of... More

This hotel has the best view ever over the Mediterranean Sea. It is the perfect place to take your couple for a romantic and relaxing weekend. In Bormes Les Mimosas you will find beautiful beaches, very nice restaurants and a great atmosphere.

Stayed for 2 nights with my fiance (now wife). I would have liked to stay longer, but we were on a schedule. The sea view is SPECTACULAR! This is a beautiful town with a very nice and relaxed beach close by. I would recommend this as a 2-3 night stop on a journey through the area. I prefer this to... More

This review is long overdue. We stayed at Le Grand Hotel for 1 week of our honeymoon and made day trips from here. It was lovely, had kind of a faded charm, laziness about it. The views of the sea are spectacular and the walk into town is short. We LOVED the town, which receives a national prize every year... More

My friend and I had even traveling France for two weeks and we drove to this hotel up in the hills above the town of Bormes-les-Mimosas. We walked in the door of our room on the fourth floor (top floor) and the view took our breath away. I really would like to return and spend a longer time. The staff... More
