This hotel sits above Bormes with a short walk to the town and a magnificent view to the Mediterranean. Rooms are generously sized and clean, nicely decorated with desk and free wifi. It has a lovely outdoor area with tables chairs and umbrellas from which time can be passed snacking and looking across to the Med. Besides a good breakfast... More

We had a quiet, spacious, comfortable room. The breakfast on the little terrace each morning was a delight. Even better was sitting with drinks on the main terrace late into the evening and absorbing the wonderful views over the countryside below. All this applied from our second night. Our first night was extremely uncomfortable because it was very hot and... More

Sadly,we only had one night to stay in this unique hotel that has a breath taking view of the Meditterian Sea. Each room is decorated differently with special touches and decor. Morning breakfast on the patio with the beautiful view was a wonderful experience. A short walk into the beautiful quaint village for cocktails and dinner was certainly a memborable... More

We stayed at the Grand a few years ago and at that time it was in need of renovation. This has clearly now taken place with great success. This is now a lovely hotel with charming rooms. It already had the amazing location and view as other reviewers have commented. It's worth paying a bit more for a larger room... More

This landmark hotel offers a spectacular view from all rooms, in a quiet relaxed atmosphere. The four rooms on the top floor are equipped wit air conditioning, a blessing during our stay. The staff are very helpful, competent and efficient. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy a cool drink on the terrace while taking in the view.

We stayed here in May for 2 nights and were very happy with the accommodation and the location. Every room has a view and the hotel is located on a hilltop just outside the centre of town. A large terrace is the perfect location to sit and sip a drink, have a coffee or tea. Light meals and snacks are... More

If you're in the area of Bormes, Le Lavendou or La Londe and want a lovely lunch in a fabulous setting then you'll struggle to beat Le Grand Hotel in Bormes le Mimosa. We were a party of six and had the meat & cheese food platters ( 2 x meat & 1 x cheese) together with a couple of... More

We stayed here recently for a night. The views from the hotel are absolutely outstanding!!!! Excellent location on a hilltop overlooking the town. Only a 5-10 min walk from restuarents. The hotel itself is quite old and maybe a little faded but that adds to the charm. We were in room 217 which is a great room as has dual... More

At the very top of Bormes Village is this gem of a Hotel. The view is breathtaking and sitting on the large Terrace with a gentle breeze, company and a glass of chilled Rose, is one of life's great pleasures. The Hotel has an elegant calm about it which is difficult to put into words. We had a lovely room... More

The style may be a little faded, and the amenities rather basic, but the wonderful sea views from every bedroom, and the fantastic location perched above the truly beautiful village of Bormes, more than justify the title Grand Hotel. The rooms are spacious, and the staff very helpful. It's a friendly, family-run hotel, and that adds to its charm. I've... More
