On our roundtrip through Denmark and with an extremely positive impression of a similarly located hotel in mind we checked in at the Hvide Hus - and plein disappointment was our overall impression. We stayed in Koge because no hotel in Copenhagen would allow us to leave our dog unattended in the room. It worked out OK. The hotel is nice enough. Nothing fancy but the price is right. We ended up in this hotel because all hotels in Copenhagen were fully booked due to some sort of fair taking place during those dates and this was the only one that was available. It's about 35 mins by taxi from Copenhage airport (£70) and it took a lot longer to get to Copenhagen city centre because of the rush... more

Comfortable room with openable window; free (wired only) Internet. Close to beach in a rural setting but very near "downtown". Breakfast buffet was very good. Dinner in the restaurant is to be avoided, unless you like cooked-forever dried out meat and unrecognizable vegetables. more
