We asked for a quiet double room. We got what was effectively a single room. One of the two beds was located under a slanted roof in the room which made it impossible to get any head room when sleeping. The room was facing a very noisy street but we were too tired to change the room. The breakfast buffet... More

The hotel was conveniently located and very clean. For +$200/nt it was higher than I was accustomed to paying for nicer hotels in Copenhagen, but I would stay here again. Reception was simple and friendly. The rooms were clean, average sized, and had amenities fit for most travelers. The included breakfast was well stocked, but not exciting. In all, my... More

The building is too old, but the room was comfortable and quite. It has a excellent food for dinner, but normal food for breakfast. The employees is not friendly as a danish people is. If you looking to have a quite room, please ask for the front of the main street, because behind of the hotel is a line of... More

The room was nice enough. Not very spacious, but clean. It was extremely hot in the room when we arrived, and there was no fan avilable. In order to breathe we had to keep the window open. We didn't get any sleep at all due to the noise from the train which went past 15 meters from our window every... More

An older hotel that has not been updated in a long time. A major train track runs right behind the hotel, with a train every 20 minutes, so, if you have to stay here, insist on a room on the front side of the hotel. There is no air conditioning, and the rooms offer very few amenities. In the summer,... More

Good breakfast, but unfortunately understaffed. Rooms were nice and large. A couple of spiders were living in the bathroom. Trains run on one side of the hotel 5 am till midnight. On the other side is a major road. Store across the street, great central location.

Got the feeling that this was a business hotel mainly catering to a corporate client. It was clean and comfortable but did not have much in the way of warmth. There was a conference there during our stay and it seemed that the computers, cell phones and other business functions were a priority. It was about 40 minutes to Copenhagen... More

This hotel was not particularly easy to find by car: it's opposite a Netto and near the canal. We had a nice room (with windows which opened) overlooking a railway and near the centre of town by foot. There was plenty of parking at the rear of the hotel which was free. WIfi is not. Reception was alright but slow.... More

Had a one night stay at Niels Juel and found check in to be a bit slow, fair enough as it was a trainee struggling with the techs of it. As the hotel is located at the yacht area the location is great if you like a bit of maritime feel. A short walk to the city center and restaurants... More

We chose the hotel because of a good location, beside the harbour e only 4 min's walk through a parkby the river to the Old Town. The room was very fresh e clean, e we liked the design of the furniture. The beds were very comfortable and though the railway line is close to the hotel, the trains didn't disturb our... More
