Spa must be the original spa! this town does not feature in uk guide books apart from the Belgian grand prix literature, The Pierre is a small town hotel with rooms added in a bungalow sort of way with a samll garden at the back, very quiet and peaceful.
The room we had was fine , bathroom clean and really good shower , lots of towels.
The owners are lovely, and grreetd us showed us the room which is unusual these days, good parking outside and and very well engineered conservatory breakfast room with a very unusual way of draining the water off the roof.

Lots of places to eat in town within a minutes walk. Spa has the best swimming pool this side of the Maldives, do not visit without a costume, take the high tech funicular to the top of the hill and there it is . Wonderful outdoor and indoor pool. there are others as well.
The Pierre is in the centre of town, handy for thE whole experience, non corporate and a real pleasure to stay at. more
