We stayed already a couple of times in this hotel, mostly for 1 to 3 nights to enjoy the Belgian coast line. The hotel is walking distance to the city center and a 20 min walk to the beach, so no car needed during the stay. The hotel has no parking facilities but there is an underground parking just a... I had to stay here when disembarked from a cruise ship due to mother falling ill. The staff have been really helpful, assisting with phone calls, taxis, printing etc. I can't thank them enough. Had a triple room, spacious and clean with really comfy beds. Breakfast has lots of choice. WiFi is free and works well.

Just returned from this hotel, whilst the fittings are a bit dated, the welcome was warm. The staff friendly and the room was serviced daily. Dogs are welcome and there is a separate section where you can take your dog at breakfast time. We found parking on the nearby side streets and managed the meters. We were given suggestions for places... More

Weekend break with a group of friends. The staff were great, friendly and very professional. We were given recommendations for a couple of restaurants by the receptionist, which were fabulous! Best hotel breakfast buffet we've had for some considerable time. Rooms were clean, and very comfortable. Hotel is situated perfectly for the shops, restaurants, bars and the tram/train station. Would... More

Just returned from a 4-day business trip in Knokke-Heist and stayed at the Hotel Prins Boudewijn. Although I arrived with a large group, check-in was fairly efficient. However, disappointment set in once I entered my room. The room itself was fairly small with the double bed taking up most of the space. Also, the carpet was the cheapest looking shag... More

Hotel pictures on the web site looked better than in reality. The furniture and bathroom is a bit old and dated. Location is good, but around 10 min walk to the beach Breakfast is fine. The coffee terrible Wifi does not work all the time... can be annoying

A simple hotel that is clean but tired, especially the rooms. The lady on the desk was very polite and efficient. The location is slightly out a little bit if you want to be near the beach. The breakfast buffet was excellent. A reasonable price and experience.

Stayed here twice on a school trip in May of 2013, and June of 2014. Both times I had a pleasant stay. The hotel does need a little bit of updating, but in both rooms I have stayed in (303 and 102) were both clean, bright enough, and all in working order. The stairs can be confusing as you have... We stayed during the Canadian Liberation March 2013. We had room 212. No Wi-Fi signal as you are too far from the router. You have to go through some sort of glass corridor to reach your room after going to a tiny set of stairs. As soon as we opened the door, we could small damp moisture. 2 out of... More

This is an older hotel that has a long list of pros and cons. I will let you decide for yourself whether it merits a 2 or a 3. I have erred on the side of what I believe is generosity, I would more than likely rate as a 2.5 if possible. Pros: - It is well situated, being close... More
