Don't be fooled by the photos online... Not all of the rooms are updated. Our room had mismatched and outdated furniture -- not like the furniture in the pictures. The bathroom light flickers when you turn it on and takes a while to be fully on. There isn't a mini-fridge, safe, magnified bathroom mirror, or other hotel room standards. The... More

The hotel was nice, with large clean rooms. It had a restaurant across the car park, which was also good. However, it was used for a lot of meetings and the people gathered in the lobby, etc, which was a bit of a nuisance, especially as the bat could not be used be hotel guests as it was used for... I stayed here on 3 days of business after spending one day at Hotel Domus-- what a shocking change. First, my feelings, then a review of the facility. The staff felt empty and emotionless. No smiles, no special care to help. And now to review the facility a bit. The hotel itself is situated away from the road, in a... More

I dont know what this place is supposed to be: is it a hotel ? I have to be in the area and made a mistake coming here. There is nothing in here. I guess good if you play tennis and need to eat mediocre food in the tennis " bistro" where the waiters failed Mc Donald's. That is the... More

Ter Elst hotel has conference center and quite a good gym facility specially tennis and aerobics. Breakfast is reasonably good and all staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Don't leave windows open though otherwise you won't be able to sleep from mosquito bites and the whizzing sound all night. No major issue and hotel is up... More

Had one problem with heating: it broke, no way to fix it. Problem with this room is: rooms are setup with single air conditioned inverter: no central heating. If it break you are done: change hotel. Personell was helpful, but no technical services on site to fix it. Rooms are big and modern. Price is right. Guess it is the... More

My husband and I stayed at the Ter Elst October 2011 and it was pretty ropey. Poor, out-dated and grubby. We had to visit the area again in October and reluctantly chose to stay at the hotel again as it was so conveniently close to where we needed to be. What a difference! A newly appointed room with great bed,... More

Contrary to a recent review Wifi is free throughout the hotel. Parking is free and in front of the hotel. The hotel has large rooms and bathrooms. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly and efficient. The restaurant is opposite the hotel and also has a bistro where you can eat after 10 when the restaurant closes. I found nothing wrong... More
