Everything was fine except the hot tub was out of order and that was the main reason I selected this hotel, We were very disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient for us. More

Dear Madam, Sir, First of all, we would like to thank you for having chosen hotel Ter Elst for your journey in Antwerp/Edegem, and for your overall positive rating. We are very satisfied you enjoyed most of your stay at our hotel. As for the broken hot tub, we do apologize for this. Indeed, we understand this is very unpleasant,... More

Contrary to a recent review Wifi is free throughout the hotel. Parking is free and in front of the hotel. The hotel has large rooms and bathrooms. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly and efficient. The restaurant is opposite the hotel and also has a bistro where you can eat after 10 when the restaurant closes. I found nothing wrong... More

This hotel is absolutely not worth its 4 stars! Rooms are spacious but completely outdated. Carpets are worn out, have dirty spots. The buffet breakfast was poor and the quality of the food wasn't good at all. On Monday you could find the leftovers from Sunday. For wifi acces you have to pay extra (in 2011 in a 4-star hotel???).... More

The hotel is near antwerp, 20 min to antwerp (car). Public transport bus 32(20 min). The rooms are very big, the bathroom had a heated floor, push a button under the sink. The breakfast was tasty and a lot. The staff was very friendly. The fitness is a cross the street. There is no bar in the hotel, and no... More

This hotel is rated as 4 star, but seems more like a 3 star. Rooms are quite big in Europe standards and have basic functionalities; nothing luxury. Yet, it is quiet a recommendable hotel if you are travelling with your car as it is a bit far away from Antwerpen and has a good price-quailty ratio (i.e it's cheap). Hotel... More

Accustomed to Best Western hotels in America, Ter Elst was found lacking in several respects. The room and bathroom were recently remodeled and spacious but sorely lacking in basic furniture -- no drawers, dressers or shelves for clothing -- only a single closet with hangers. This lack is probably okay for what appears to be the typical business client staying... More

We had booked a double room online with a request for an additional bed for a child. When we arrived in the evening at the hotel, they had not set up an extra bed but they speedily found an extra bed. There was an awful smell of open drains in the car park so you could not open your bedroom... More

A dated seventies-style hotel, not that first appearances should put you off. Decent check-in, huge room, convenient yet quiet location, but not much else to commend it. My room was quite clean but looked bare, due to it's size but lack of facilities. The kettle was in the minibar but the socket was under the desk so was difficult to... More

We stayed in this hotel with a 'Flair'-coupon. The hotel is not in the city center of Antwerp, but by bus it is easy to reach in about 30 minutes. After shopping all day, it was great to relax in the sauna. They have 2 bars, a bistro and a restaurant, but we only went to the restaurant to celebrate... More
